  1. They'll find a way to fuck it up. Best to just enjoy the small victories.
  2. Travis was brilliant tonight, we have missed that. Be great to get Tron and Yuki back. We'll need Carter if Batth is out for any length of time.
  3. Fantastic second half after a lethargic first half. Big Mak seems a different player, that first goal was unreal.
  4. Is that why he squints a lot?
  5. I'm fully expecting Forshaw trotting on to add much needed pace. Why isn't Damian Johnson caretaker manager?
  6. We're good at turning a counter attack into defending. We get the ball back, get to the half way line, the oppositions got a panic on. We then think fuck it lets pass it backwards so we can spend a few minutes knocking it about in our own box.
  7. Mutual consent officially but to me it looked like a dignified sacking.
  8. I think they'd both be horrific.
  9. I have a feeling it's going to by Ryan Lowe. Local, out of work, cheap, sacked from a local rival, pointless.
  10. Being angry at Eustace is pointless. He's left because Venkys and their underlings are fucking useless and they deserve every bit of the flak. Imagine your work environment and colleagues being that shite that you're leaving a sixth place club for one in 22nd place. Imagine the likes of Waggott and a smug cunt called Suhail who has no clue about football constantly sticking a spoke in the wheels. Oh I forget, we don't need to imagine that one because it happens every fucking year!
  11. Whatever anyone thinks of Eustace it's a side issue.
  12. The company's chairman Anuradha J Desai said: "We don't need to buy expensive players, we can always lease them. "
  13. I would have mentioned JDT but it wasn't the January window that led to him leaving, it was the end of the previous season when the hierarchy let it be known they wanted to sell anyone worth anything and release anyone on a decent wedge.
  14. Three January transfer windows they've fucked up, and this one has led to the manager leaving.
  15. They haven't said anything because they've embarassed themselves again and have no idea how to deal with it. This is up there with the shambolic O'Brien and McGuire episodes. Suhail is currently trying to source a fresh pair of trousers whilst Waggott is rocking in the corner staring at his bank account.
  16. Whoever it is we have gone from "journeys" and "projects" to a different bloke every 12 months. Suhail and Steve are that repellent we'll be lucky to keep the new guy for 6 months.
  17. 15 years of Venky's appointments. The story so far. Sam Allardyce - sacked allegedly by Jerome Anderson. Steve Kunt - appointed allegedly by Jerome Anderson, his agent. Almost relegates the club from PL on first attempt. Second attempt relegated. Leaves by mutual consent after club officials beg him to stay. Henning Berg - sacked after 57 days. Michael Appleton - sacked after 67 days. Gary Bowyer - barely any experience but steady, unsuccessful and probably had our best Championship squad - sacked. Paul Lambert - left at the end of the season after broken promises by the club/owners. Owen Coyle - would have relegated us himself if he'd not been... - sacked. Tony Mowbray - couldn't keep us up. Relegated to L1 but promoted back to Championship in first full season - club left his contract to run out and left him in the dark. Jon Dahl Tomasson - got us to 7th place, missing out on goal difference. At the end of the season he requests to be released from contract after club doesn't back him and January mistakes. They refuse. Around 8 months later they allow him to leave - left by mutual consent. John Eustace - leaves us in 6th place for a club in 22nd place (relegation zone) after not being backed - release clause allows him to leave for Derby County.
  18. It was perfect, a manager in the play off positions keeping the fans relatively happy, but with just enough shit to wade through so we'll just miss out again. Now it's two managers leaving within 12 months in controversial circumstances. Fans massively unhappy and questioning why a manager is leaving the play off places for a relegation fight. One positive - the statement certainly reads like someone not in full control of their emotions. It got someone riled up.
  19. It's pretty obvious it doesn't matter who is appointed the manager/head coach. Whoever it is, good or bad, will be undermined/sabotaged by the club and owners for whatever ulterior motive they have to keep us down. This pretty much confirms Rovers are finished as a competitive professional football club. It's just a sham and has been since the beginning. The only way anything changes is for them to sell the club to someone who wants to win football matches.
  20. Disgraceful. Written like a petulant teenager. Check. Alienating the manager. Check. Treating the fans like gullible idiots. Check. Suhail's first attempt at a statement. Check.
  21. Like I said, if he doesn't see it through then it's worse at Rovers than we could have imagined.
  22. Neither Derby nor Eustace would do that. There's just too many variables to consider.
  23. From what I hear we did that when Kean was appointed. And Coyle.
  24. It would be a strange decision but you don't know what he's having to put up with behind the scenes. If he's pushed out to a relegation threatened team when we're in the play off places, it shows what a shoddy organisation they are.
  25. I'm amazed that some fans are blaming him. I called it when he was appointed. You'll blame him, you blamed JDT and you'll blame the next decent manager who decides he wants to leave this circus. Tell me you wouldn't leave the trio of cunts that is Waggot/Suhail/Venkys if it was that simple.
