  1. He's only 22 so there's room to develop him. For his next club.
  2. It was pre-season for him in the States, so he'll need to get fit first. Season starts for them at the end of the month (21st?)
  3. Of course not. It's a Mrs Desai Venky leasey special.
  4. Now both of them are off the wage bill. High fives in Pune.
  5. Another who is not ready. I wasn't as harsh on him as others were on his debut, but he was clearly slowing down play.
  6. They finally bring in a striker, then get rid of our best midfielder. They finally bring in experience, he's fucking 37. It'd be fantastic if he was that blunt.
  7. At least we've finally got a striker and hopefully it's third time lucky, but ffs... The pointless loanee kids and a 37 year old defender. Where's the full backs? Where's the pacey winger? But above all, where's the Adam Wharton replacement? "Blackburn Rovers are our baby."
  8. He'll have brought it himself, there's no way we've paid for it.
  9. We're good at getting the deals done to get them out aren't we.
  10. I was just about to say that if we've got £600k for Ennis and got him off the wage bill, that's McGuire paid for.
  11. Ayari the guy who failed at Coventry, the guy they called a "soft touch." I like Buckley and would love to see him crack on, but he's so inconsistent. He got his chance last season and impressed less than he did under Mowbray. What you're basically saying is a lad who failed at another club, and another lad who hasn't done so great under JDT here, is the replacement for our £20m wonderkid. It should but it clearly doesn't.
  12. No one replaced Adam Armstrong and that was Summer 2021. And we're still waiting for the American lad with an hour to go.
  13. He means we're short on central midfielders. I'm not sure why this needs explaining. Do you really think our recruitment matches JDT's playing style? Or his playing style is in any way an influence on how the club goes about its business? That's why we're 18th in the table!
  14. Hearing they wanted to punt him on to free up the wage bill can't have helped.
  15. Any news on a replacement for Wharton? Or did they not plan for that and expect us to survive with Garrett and Tronstad?
  16. Nope, I'm just unwilling to engage with someone who completely twisted my words as if you've got some kind of ulterior motive. So thanks but no thanks. Of course he consented to it. Did you take what I wrote as Steve Waggott was stood behind him puppeting his hand as he was doing his signature?
  17. Enlighten who, a person on the internet who is coming across as oddly sensitive?
  18. Intimidation, threats or physical force? Dear me that was quite a twist and a leap to get to that response.
  19. Certain people knew in advance we were going to have our cash cut off, yet didn't plan for it and instead looked at the squad before the end of last season and just started pencilling out names. And here we are. Got a nice coach though.
  20. Yep, hence him being pressured to leave. He was asked to leave before the end of last season.
  21. He was forced out. Course he's happy at being treated like a king for the day and being set for life, but back when he was being given a shove he wasn't. He was happy here. I said he was being forced out last season, to shouts of "there won't be a fire sale" or "they won't sell him till he's beefed up a bit." That turned out well.
  22. And a striker, if Ennis goes. We were already light in that department and I'm not sure if McGuire will be match fit as it's still pre-season for him.
