The point is he's been "okay" in the Swiss league scoring 7 so far, and spending our last £3.3m on someone merely "okay" seems a bit crazy to me. It's not like he's a 30 goal striker. The top scorer in the Swiss Super League has 11.

So he's scored a few in the Swiss league, but £3.3m when we're supposedly skint? And we wouldn't spend roughly the same for Aasgaard.

He looks better than Telalovic. Stronger than Dolan and a big upgrade on Hedges, obviously with the caveat that he can do it in the championship. Still doesn't score enough to rest our hopes on.

He looks like a player to go into one of the wide forward positions, not a CF. I think he's left sided.

I hope Kargbo is the wide player replacing Hedges and we're still bringing in a goalscorer. From his highlights he looks like he isn't the best finisher but is strong, nippy and can cross, has an eye for a through ball.

He was fantastic for Luton the season before they got promoted scoring 17 goals. Scored 10 the season after but had a few injury problems iirc, Luton go up. He scores 10 in 27 games in the Premier League. He's only scored 5 so far but he's playing in a bad team. It won't happen because the board don't have any ambition, but I'm not sure how he reminds you of Gueye.

The only one that seems suitable for us right now is Kone but we're never going to match or better Luton's offer. And can he make the step up? Asante has scored 3 in 28 appearances for Coventry. Kone hasn't been in the professional league for long. Osula is another embryo, a big embryo at 6ft4, but he's only ever scored 2 goals professionally against Accy Stanley when he was 18/19, so who knows what he would bring. That said they are probably all better than what we've got. It's a sad state. When's Yuki back?
