  1. So far this season we've played more bad than good. There are too many weak links and not enough goals to make up for it. Let's face it they took apart the team and cobbled another one together very cheaply.
  2. Tavares's play is STILL causing US problems. He receives the ball, he kicks the ball, he loses the ball. Gestede has managed to find a player worse than Keith Andrews.
  3. What happens when you sell your best and employ a loser like Gestede to bring in cheap replacements.
  4. Thank Christ, I can stop watching this Rudy Gestate/Sufail Snake bullshit hoping for some kind of resurrection. We're down this season, I should probably just make peace with it.
  5. Does Ismael have eyes? Taveres has been shit in almost every game so far and VI's master plan is to bring him on when we need a goal.
  6. Pickering shite all game and he's still on the pitch. He strikes fear into his fellow defenders.
  7. Barring a miracle this game is done. I've just seen Miller get the ball when under pressure, take a touch and fucking lose it then get a yellow card and give a free kick away. Fuck off Suhail, fuck off Gestede. Fucking chancers.
  8. Kargbo, chance to clear it, takes a touch and loses it.
  9. Played well against Ipswich but have shown nothing today. Ismael hasn't helped with team selection and subs.
  10. Kargbo, ffs. Can't cross the ball, can't pass the ball, can't tackle yet always appears on the 60th minute. Without fail.
  11. Almost 2-0 down only for a good save from Toth. Charlton are the only ones who look like they want to win the match.
  12. "What the fucking hell was that" the Charlton fans chant after a terrible free kick from Pickering. Echoing most Rovers fans since 2021.
  13. Years of downgrading on show here and I'm not sure why Ribeiro's been dropped.
  14. What a cocky arrogant tw@t he is. He's already fallen on his sword and he doesn't know it.
  15. Make a flag out of it!!!
  16. A steward tried to throw me out in 2010 for taking a photo of a plane. We're back to the Anderson days.
  17. Grubby decision by narcissistic people. Can't take criticism but continually do things to incite it. They sink ever lower into their own cesspit.
  18. I'm not sure what rise above it means in this context as I'm not fucking grieving over it. I was just pointing out a strangeness.
  19. They are populating every post on the Rovers Facebook page.
  20. One surprising aspect of this whole sorry saga is what a shocking bunch Ipswich fans are. I've known a few over the years and they've always seemed decent grounded folk. Years ago when Rovers and Ipswich were in the PL they were always a decent humble bunch. So I was happy when they got promoted last year and hoped they'd stay up. A year in the PL has turned them into Man Utd fans from the 90's but without the trophy cabinet to back it up.
  21. "It was impossible to finish the game," said McKenna. "From the start of the second half the pitch was getting to the point of unplayable really. " "It was really slushy before the game started, but the ball rolled okay in the first half to be fair. It was holding up a little bit. But in the second half, the footing was too slippery to be safe, then the ball stops moving. It was an inevitable decision that could maybe have been made earlier. In the end there was no other option." "We hope to reward them, starting next Saturday (at home to Portsmouth) and in the matches to come. There's every chance that we'll be back up here again. Hopefully we'll reward them because we really, really appreciate their support."
  22. Not one of his comments referred to his team being awful for almost the entire game or his tactics consisting of using the wet conditions to try and maim their opponents. He did mention that the second half was pretty much unplayable from the off - ignoring the fact it only affected one team negatively, turning them into cheating shithouses collecting 4 yellows and a red.
  23. If Ipswich win the replay and those 3 points help them to automatic promotion, play offs or play off promotion. The clubs in third or seventh place are going to be massively pissed off. Come the end of the season this decision could impact so many other clubs. Imagine if those 3 points kept them up and the huge amount of money lost from the team or teams beneath them (potentially us). If the EFL watch the game they'll see that Ipswich were never going to win that game. They were poor and got worse as the match went on. Both teams had the same conditions to play in and they had a man less. And there was only one team trying to injure the other.
