Spot on my friend. Nonda should be asked whether or not he will be happy with being 3rd/4th choice. If the answer to that is yes, and the usual wages/transfer fee equations stack up, then its a no brainer. We'll probably get double figures in goals out of the guy for this season, which is great for someone further down the pecking order.

Benni has scored more goals already with atleast 10 games left of our season than Bellamy did for us in the whole of last season. And Bellamy was the best since Shearer?

He's shown absolutely sod all in the games he's been involved. I'm not surprised Hughes isn't playing him - we have far better.

Bit early Billy, but I do agree with you. We should not be signing second rate, off the boil players to fill in our 4th/5th striker berths when we have players like Derbyshire and Garner coming through.

I'd rather have FSP than Jeffers, and from what we've seen so far I think he offers more than Roberts. Other than that you'd have to say we're stronger this year, if only because the balance is tipped by the emergence of a young, hungry Matt Derbyshire.

He's been 3rd choice striker most of the season, and has notched 8 times. Any team in our position would be happy with that. He provides another option and he seems to be happy even with playing second fiddle to the first choice partnership. At the right price we'd be daft not to keep him on.
