  1. Got to first team fixtures scroll down to southend and there is a link there
  2. this is on android, go to match centre , under the team names there are two links, one is watch on iplayer the other is listen edit: not iplayer , ifollow
  3. Seems that whilst the FL have been plugging the ifollow service they forgot to negotiate tv rights for Australia, and US rights have gone to a streaming service who are sub contacting to ESPN 3, No wonder illegal streams are popular, on the plus side can get rid of my fox sports subscription now:)
  4. Didn't realise Rovers had announced the match pass , here is the link https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2017/august/ifollow-match-passes-now-available/
  5. In my experience yes it is safe, the steam app is not that memory hungry when running according to task manager takes up about 50 mb of memory. the steam folder takes up about 3gb on the c drive (this does not include any of the main game files as I store them on external drives) p.s a good easy to use programe for moving the steam game files to and from your c drive to external drives when disk space is getting low is Steam mover Link or if you have never used steam before you can set it up so it automatically downloads game files to whatever drive
  6. Apparently apps for android tv need to be certified by the developer different from regular android apps, hence some apps don't show up in the google play store when accessed from android tv. Maybe neulion have this in the pipeline? Might be worth contacting them A cheap option in the meantime is to run a hdmi cable (ran a 10 metre hdmi cable in the past with no loss in quality) from your computer to the tv (or screen mirror from comp or phone) or alternatively get a cheap android box. Also the option to sideload it onto the tv apps with the apk file from a phone ,don't know if this will work with this app though and its a lot of messing about. Got ifollow successfully installed and running on android 4.42 on a Minix Neo x8H box and also on a older cheaper generic box that I had lying around for my brother in law who was having the same problems as yourself with the same brand TV Hope the above helps Touch wood, the app is performing well so far definitely an improvement on the last one, the real test will come at 3pm on Saturday and the strain on the servers
  7. Know you have got this sorted now, but for anybody else who wants to pay via paypal from Au, clear your browser cache, use a vpn to obtain a NZ ip address, log in to your ifollow account, go to subscribe from the top menu , click package required and next screen shows the paypal option in GBP . btw the new android app is out https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.neulion.efl0005 and there is going to be a match by match subscription available (not sure if all clubs are doing it but this from the Grimsby website https://www.grimsby-townfc.co.uk/news/2017/july/ifollow-match-passes-now-available/ Should be good for those who want to see if it works wherever they are
  8. Leamington Road ground was built over with houses, got a book somewhere (an early history of Rovers ) that has the location and a drawn image of the ground, will dig it out. from memory (of the book ) there was a start of a hill behind one of the goals and houses around it, and a gated entrance on Leamington Street (apparently was not Road then) towards the top of the street Edit: A quick search found this part built on the site of the former ground should be helpful for location http://www.blackburnbaptistchurch.co.uk/our-history.html So was probably around what is now the junction with Granville road so around here https://www.google.com.au/maps/@53.7519503,-2.5012806,73m/data=!3m1!1e3 Edit 2: found the book that I thought the illustration was in (turns out it is not, must be another book I have) anyway in the book Things about Blackburn Rovers by Harry Kay (sports editor of the Northern Daily Telegraph) P 1948 it say's about the Oozehead ground ""It was a field at Oozhead, near St Silas School in Preston New Road"
  9. The new sensible soccer should be out this year. Online multi-player will be available , a brfcs league? Think I played every platform of the original and non matched the Amiga version of sensible world of soccer ( a proper joystick breaker), so fingers crossed for this one. Looking a bit like a modern version of kick off,
  10. The Sparta Prague friendly against an Austrian team (in Austria) that they are playing a couple of days before they play Rovers is being streamed by bet365 , so fingers crossed they stream the Rovers one. Not on the schedule yet EFL plan to increase number of live games shown in the UK starting 2019/20 season http://www.sportsmole.co.uk/off-the-pitch/news/efl-plans-huge-rise-in-live-tv-games_302015.html
  11. Pretty much it K-Hod, sign up for a steam account, download the steam client, purchase whatever you want it goes in your library, then you can download it . If you want to play off line, just set your steam client to offline. Footy manager 2017 is quite expensive at the moment, was on sale a couple of weeks ago, p.s always worth checking green man gaming or humble for offers on steam keys for games. You might know this but you can buy steam keys (game registration/serial numbers) on other sites sometimes cheaper than on steam. Once you get the key log into steam , enter the key and the game appears in your library. There are some dodgy sites selling steam keys so beware , the two mentioned are legit.
  12. Think there was about half a dozen last season plus the play off semis and final
  13. Seems American NFL fans had the same problems not being able to view certain games in their home country which were shown on certain TV stations, which were available overseas Link
  14. I automatically assumed they would use the audio from the Radio Rovers chaps on the video feeds, reading this sounds like it may be different http://www.cynopsis.com/062617-neulion-adds-efl-to-passion-playlist-nba-draft-sees-stock-soar-nhl-commits-to-collegiate-power-play/
  15. Reply from Ifollow support regarding paypal, seems the arse doesn't know what the elbow is doing Are venky's running it? Greetings, Thank you for contacting iFollow support. PayPal is currently not an option but that will be available soon along with direct deposit. Unfortunately we do not have an exact time frame to provide on that right now. Feel free to check back with the website or customer support for any updates that become available on that. Best regards, EFL iFollow Support
  16. Just tried that, same result . Oh well just emailed them again so will see what happens Also tried on mobile, no paypal, must be an aussie thing Edit : Just (cough cough)swam across to New Zealand and can pay 110 GBP via paypal, initally it showed payment in Au$ , what a strange way of doing things
  17. Can you post a screenshot showing where the paypal option is (obviously cover up any personal details) Registered for the free account, went to my account and it gave me the option to upgrade , then said I need to update my billing details which I can not do without entering a credit card - no paypal option anywhere
  18. Drew Barrand , Marketing Director EFL http://digitalsport.co/efls-ifollow-to-bring-overseas-fans-of-lower-league-football-every-live-game-next-season
  19. When you contact them again can you ask, because of their pathetic rules allowing shadey owners and even shadier business partners, is there an option to subscribe to say fleetwood and watch rovers games considering the following quote “It’s not that the club takes a percent,” says Barrand. “If the Bolton Wanderers fan subscribes to iFollow, they will do it through the club website and that money goes to Bolton Wanderers. The operating costs are taken out, and the rest of the money goes to the club where the subscription was sourced from.”
  20. Not a techy, but they could restrict it to one registered device at a time logged in
  21. or a pre paid visa/mastercard , know they have them here not sure about other places. multi currency travel cards might also work @allroverasia, regarding paypal, no idea can not get anybody to answer that question for some reason although as mentioned its in the terms and conditions just no option to pay that way. Perhaps they realise you can add different currencies to your paypal and select whatever has you main currency so can pay in whatever currency represents the country you may or may not be in Also the details are a bit sketchy on whether it is live video/audio or just audio available for the friendly and league cup games, all seems a bit of a rush job with very little detail, not like the EFL that is it.
  22. Sure I saw it on a site today, but just looked on the efl website /live TV games and its not showing it. Edit : Mis- read it is not been picked up by sky .
  23. @AllRoverAsia , what email address did you use to contact them, efldigital@efl.com? , still not received a reply regarding the paypal query, even cut me off on live chat when I mentioned it is a payment option in the terms an conditions. Might just forget about trying to give them money and go down the free route which will no doubt be available BTW first game of the season looking like it will not be on Ifollow , sky are broadcasting it so will no doubt be picked up by non Uk channels
  24. From the title I thought you were after a small Venky's out wooden sign for next season Chaddy
