  1. Fixtures on this day tend to throw up surprises, for that reason I would prefer to be playing WBA away, but what can you do. I would go 4-4-2 Walton Nyambe Lenihan Tosin Bell Holtby Johnson Travis Downing Gallagher Brereton A win would be just the tonic for last night and Dacks injury.
  2. Nyambe looks so nervous at times. Anyone remember the muddle he got in on half way where he just about got it to Walton? That happened at least twice, not sure who it was the first time. Absolute heart in the mouth stuff.
  3. Ah I don't know. I think he does. Even when he came on last night he looked to be immediately giving lip to the Wigan players. I think it's a pity he almost scored forst touch from the corner, it maybe made him think he was up to the pace of the game already, when he wasn't. It pretty much drifted past him after that. I said I would have started Johnson and Bennett. I think we needed those 2 in there to stand up to Wigan physically. Morsey wouldn't have been raking his studs down Johnsons leg I bet.
  4. I would start Brereton upfront ahead of Armstrong and probably Samuel as well. Certainly don't see him replacing Dack though and I wouldn't even entertain the idea
  5. Bit of both ya. A bit of rust is to be expected after being out for 6 games. It's a real pity that Tosin got injured before the game. Can only think we win that if he plays. The concern is we are so reliant on a loanee. Great signing, but it probably suggests we are in a bit of a false position.
  6. If he makes it back this season it will be a big psychological boost for him and the rest of the lads. Even March
  7. Johnson is a hard man and he is a better footballer than Morsy
  8. I would take Travis or Johnson over Morsy, he's a donkey. Rough housing is all he is good for. We should have started Johnson, he would have won that battle.
  9. When will there be official word on the injury? Surely 3-4 days before it settled down The only positive is he didn't completely jar the knee. Can't see it being less than 2 months though and that is best case scenario
  10. 6 -8 weeks would be best case scenario stuff. I think we can absorb his loss better than some are making out. Especially if its a 2 month out job. Holtby can step in. The likes of him, Armstrong,Rothwell and Gallagher will need to start chipping in more goals
  11. Hindsight is great, but maybe Bell and Johnson shout have started. Any news on Dack?
  12. Better second half. Pity Grahams header didnt go in! Very nervy. Evan's was poor, William's gave it away too much as well.
  13. Hopefully not as bad as it looked. It looked bad on the last angle
  14. We reverted to league 1 style. We are better than this
  15. About 5% of me actually thought we would play well. Why do I never learn?
  16. True, but Wigan are shite so hopefully we get away with this
  17. Johnson should have started. We are getting out muscled
  18. Having William's there makes a huge difference And not in a good way
  19. I would say they look a cert to score first. This is embarrassing Come on!!!
  20. In undercooked when the chips are down. Truly awful
