  1. You are arguing with numerous posters on this man, just give it up and move on! People have made their viewpoint clear
  2. We were unlucky not to beat Charlton. Let it go lads... It's bizzare trawling over this from our current, lofty position
  3. After the decade we have had, I actually find these type of threads painful....
  4. It's nit picking. If we won it and were struggling now you wouldn't give a fiddlers about it, nor would anyone else. That just shows how insignificant of a trophy it is.
  5. No, it's actually very relevant. Due to the reasons you point out If we won League 1 and were now in Wigans position, i'm sure it would be long, long forgotten and certainly irrelevant.
  6. Indeed and my fear is that it might lead Mowbray to muddle up the selection. I would go back to the team that won 4 on the bounce.
  7. He's a nob and his comments were completely necessary. Mowbary was 100% right to rubbish it. We have finished ahead of them every season since we both got back to the Championship. That's really all that matters. I don't watch Rugby league and I never said that he doesn't
  8. Well, we don't see him in training, so we can't say that is the only reason. Although I do take the point fro what we do see, it does look a bit odd.
  9. Marty Schurll turning up at the NWA was a surprise. Good move for all involved really. Elevates the NWAs pulling power and also gives a good rub to schurll. He will eventually turn up on AEW. I'm sure there is a plan in place for that already. Some talented guys there now. I like Eli Drake, but my favorites are Arron Stevens, he is pure comedy gold, I think he is my favourite wrestler and to a lesser degree Colt Cabana.. The women's division is abysmal to be frank, but I think Thunder Rosa has a bit about her. On that, I just find it strange sometimes how certain guys or gals get pushed into the Championship picture who are boring or just awful. I just don't really get James Storm. He is Stone cold very light. Was decent in Beer money to be fair, but Bobby Roode is a serious operator, whatever his role. The one that really puzzles me is Sienna. From what I have watched of her, she can't act, cut a promo or wrestle very well. I just don't get it.
  10. Ya, we have been intwined with them in the dark days. They relegated us from the PL, well obviously other factors did that, but that result finalized it. Then there was League 1. I wonder can Mulgrew play. Hopefully (I could regret that one)
  11. Stick this up in the training center https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/16175595.blackburn-got-little-bit-ahead-themselves-says-wigan-boss/
  12. I hate the fact we have such a wait for this. I also hate Wigan and Cook. Morsey is a nob too. At least Powell is off warming the Stoke bench. It would be sweet, sweet revenge if we beat them ,plunge them into the relegation zone and get Cook sacked. Remember the shite he was spouting in league 1 about Mowbray being arrogant or something like that, when he clearly was the opposite, to a fault at times. Hate that guy. I would love it if he hammered them. Alas it will probably be a battle and close enough. I would nearly favour Johnson with Travis, but I sense a potential red card there. It's good now that we have the option of 4-4-2. Keep them guessing. I hope Dack and Holtby both start, but that would probably have to be at the expense of Rothwell. Maybe Downing with them behind the striker. Armstrong and Rothwell are better off the bench imo. I doubt they would agree though. Did I mention I hate Wigan and specifically Cook?
  13. The stats actually disagree with you as he got in the team of the weekend based on his rating from them.
  14. I would reckon he was offered a better deal here, simple as that. Him and Benno are best buds too.
  15. Hasn't Buckley started games though? Really depends on where too. Wycombe might be good. I wouldn't loan Brereton out either, especially after he started the other day. He's in contention now. Let him have a run at it.
  16. Ya and way more positive signings. His transfer record stands up. No one gets them all right
  17. Buckley and Brereton? Why?
  18. It was on off the ball on the radio this morning
  19. I can imagine. Hes really not my type of player. Never was. Can look like Duff for patches in games, then next thing it seems like he goes weeks without getting passed a player. He drives me mad.
  20. I would say most would class them more good than bad to be fair. Downing anyway. Unanimously lauded by fans. Johnson came in yesterday and bossed the Bristol midfield. Granted he had been in and out,but we haven't had a midfielder capable of doing that on a good day in many years. Holtby is quality Gallagher noticeably coming on leaps and bounds Of them all Rothwell is the most inconsistent, but probably the most loved by fans ,ironically
  21. Reports in Ireland we have agreed a deal for Cunningham for €1.5 million. Deal to be competed Jan 1st. Sounds a bargain. I'm sure we are taking a good look at his injury with him still being here since it happened.
