  1. I have a feeling it could be a real unpredictable team, even by Tony's standards. Whether that's a good thing or not, time will tell. If no Tosin, or no word as to why no Tosin, I will be getting a bit worried more is going on there than meets the eye.
  2. Debatable. Evans was certainly better in some games, as was Johnson. Overall you could make the case for Travis alright. I still think he is better than this though.
  3. Nobody was discussing Bennett, so a comparison wasnt necessary.
  4. You are ignoring personal responsibility due to your blinkered dislike of the manager. If you make the case that Travis started well, but has not continued that, would that not mean he therefore can play well under the manager?
  5. One of the biggest criticisms of Travis play has been his poor passing. Thats on him. As for being less dynamic, again, not sure what mowbray can do about that. The players have their fitness programmes. Maybe playing men's football is just more difficult week in week out. He gives 100% alright but the way people were talking about him,I expected more. I read an article on Sky sports news last week about who are the top young players in the championship. Travis did not get a mention and I didn't see anyone complaining about that. I acknowledge the way we play does somewhat limit what the cms do,but Travis has underwhelmed regardless of that imo
  6. Ah so when Mowbray doesnt start Travis, hes wrong and then when he starts him and he doesnt play as well as people hoped, well obviously that's mowbrays fault too. Some fans are so blinkered against mowbray that they cant look at things objectively at all. Travis poor performances are on 1 person ,himself.
  7. At a minimum we need to be fired up for tomorrow, pressing and in their faces. Another lacklustre effort would be disappointing
  8. It's what we spent on Brereton
  9. I wonder would £6 million be enough to sign this guy. Depends on how highly city rate him. I mean is there any realistic chance he will start for them next season. Not many youth players make the break through there
  10. Be great to see Chapman on the bench at least, need someone with an x-factor. Some spark to get the positivity going again
  11. Luton lost 7-0 to Brentford 2 games back I watched it this morning and what struck me was I couldn't imagine us beating someone by that much. Mowbray would probably tell the lads to be good humans and go easy on the opposition 2nd half!
  12. Graham, Gallagher, Armstrong, Johnson, Downing, Rothwell,Holtby all need to chip in with a few. Along with others.
  13. Very plausible to be fair, but time will tell. His agent looks like a supremely sleazy character.
  14. I would agree with that team,or Holtby for Buckley. Why no Nyambe though? I actually dont mind Bennett there either
  15. I'm sure Tony would trust them and they know it. He can't be knocked for his loyalty to players.
  16. I would say peak can be 26-29 so maybe we could be lucky. Hes an amazing player and glad he is still ours, whatever the circumstances!
  17. I wouldn't say either are that level, yet, but there is certainly potential there
  18. I think even sans Dack the team is there to get into the play offs. IF the manager picks the right team... We are no worse than those around us
  19. You both know more than me on this. I just dont understand how there could be almost 30,000 at the Oxford game and then 11-14 thousand regulars. Are they really fans? Like would they attend every week in the premiership. I'm not sure, but as I said,ye certainly know more than me about this.
  20. Also though, the guy scrapped and fought his way up to get to where he is. People point out Buckleys "weakness" on the ball. Dack isnt the strongest, but he learnt how to get past players, win frees and also get on the end of things. He gets some doing off the opposition, let's be honest here. Ok,its not as much as say Duff had to deal with ,but Dack is a tough little fucker!
  21. Ha ha. It looked likely with 2 home games. I said before,I never learn
  22. I have the same fear. "When can we win our 1st game without Dack". I think it's very real!
  23. But what is wrong with encouraging people to buy early if tickets are a tenner? If you miss out tough shit,at the end of the days it's only another fiver to get a ticket then. Personally I just dont think the fan base is there is to sell more than 15,000 season tickets, ever.
