If you disagree, you must therefore agree that Mowbray is a massive liar? The quotes @DE.shared are pretty unequivocal. I don't believe he is a liar to be honest.

Case closed, your honour.

Ya,its really bad on Twitter today. For the record I don't think our fans should boo Brereton,or any of our own players for that matter. Hes not the first one to be booed though.
-
It's a very simple point, people have real issues. He can cry all he wants, it just suggests to me that he isnt cut out to be a footballer. Every single player gets booed. Should fans be stopped from booing opposition players?

Only investment, which is shockingly bad. However I would include Tosin as an improvement as he is currently available to play. -

Ya,front line better for sure. Agree with that. Dont agree about midfield. If we used players in their proper positions. Sorry,I dont get your last paragraph. How is Bell the only investment/permanent change? -
So it always seems we scouted players that go on to do well elsewhere, whereas our big money signings dont. Interesting that, no?.
-
Dont twist what I said. Plus dont bring suicide into it to try and over state a millionaire footballer crying because he got booed ,like every player does. Of course it's ok for men to cry. There are of course times when men probably should cry rather than bottle things up. If you cry cos you get booed as a footballer, you need time off to get your head straight and possibly re evaluate your career. Harsh maybe, but the truth. Look at James McLean. The absolute savage sectarian abuse that man gets week in week out. I remember a thread on here before where some said he deserves it for not wearing a poppy. Should booing opposition players be banned? What about if they are taking a penalty. Should they not be booed in case it impacts their mental health?

Agreed. Would be a very good signing and probably not too expensive. Walton is probably on comparable wages. -

Go back and look at the squad that went down man, it was pathetic. Even the ones you mention along with those still here shows it's a vastly better squad. That was a real Renford rejects crew we had then. Highlighted by where they all ended up after leaving here. -
You mean before he joined Southampton for £15 million? What was the point in scouting him? Seems like a waste of time if they are the figures he moved for

Look at the team that went down on the last day, in fairness we do have a much better squad now. Allowing for other issues that are now hampering progression. -
What does that have to do with the lack of research put into the Brereton signing? I would hope with 6 million involved we researched more than 1 or 2 players and would actually know what we were getting. Really stupid signing for a club in our position.
-
Ah harsh on Gallagher, at the end of the day if he scored 12 this season in the same amount of games as last time around he would be classed as having done pretty well. Campbell and Varney, wow ya, dark days they were.
-
In fairness if that was the case, he would have actually started Brereton upfront on something resembling a consistent basis to increase his fee. Also plenty on here, who know more about the young lads than I were raving about Buckley before he got in the 1st team. It just seems that the physicality of mens football is a bridge too far. No doubting he has more ability technically than Brereton for example

I dont think Liverpool accept magic beans though ,unfortunately -
I think you hit the nub of the issue, why did Mowbray sign him if he wasnt going to play him upfront, in his position for over 16 months? I mean he hasn't played back to back games upfront has he? I mean that is scandalous. If it's down to his lack of application at training,Mowbray needs to sort that. If its lack of ability, which it appears to me to be, them it's on the one who signed him! I gave Brereton more time than many on here and I really wanted him to succeed, but it's a disaster really and I dont see him turning into a player of any note. I just have a feeling he was signed on very little first hand research, if any. Bizarre signing. At least Gallagher scored a few last time he was here. Brereton ain't scoring 12 in a season here, in fact he wont score 12 full stop.

Good post It's just I cant help but feel any change of manager will not take place until summer ,at least and I also cant help but feel the only way he will go is if he decides to himself. The lack of confidence being displayed by Brereton and now Gallagher is puzzling and definitely reflects on the manager in my opinion. -

Apparently we are expressing an interest in Scott Hogan. Not sure it's legit because of wages, but could be a good addition. Granted he hasn't really got going anywhere since Brentford. A little poacher on his day though. -
Because I see him playing and he doesn't be busting a gut. The tears dont show he cares to be honest. Trying harder on field would show that.
-
Again, you're taking a leap saying he has mental health issues. You have no clue. I have no issue with men crying , as I said though, people do have real problems. If he's crying because he got booed,he's in the wrong business. If he has something more serious wrong with him, which I dont believe he does, well then he shouldnt be playing.
-
Obviously there isn't any shame in tears, it's just people have real issues. An overpaid footballer who doesnt really work very hard doesn't get my sympathy radar going.
-
Who is talking about suicide? Bit of a leap there. My point that I dont think he is cut out for the ruthless world of football
