So the 4 of them alone is £20 million plus. Nobody in that team that went down who left could command a fee. Should be better after spending £20 million for sure and we have all discussed Gallagher and Brereton to death over the last few days. My point is simple this squad is a lot better. Youth and potential much better now. You are underestimating how bad that squad that went down was. Out of contract duds who generally ended up at league 2 standard or worse. Not knocking your analysis, you put a fair bit of work into it and made some valid points, but if you cant see the difference, then I think you dont want to. There is a reason that side went down and it's not just the one in tiny shorts. I take your main point as being that we have better players,but they haven't performed as well as they can. The midfield in particular is like night and day. You give Warnock or Mick McCarthy both squads and which one are they doing better with? Answer is pretty clear I think. The only debate is upfront and let's not make out that Emnes or Joao were more consistent than they actually were.

It's bizzare. Their womens division is so week, but I suppose it allows them to have a really strong hour of the mens show and also give the relatively inexperienced female division time to develop. Stu Bennett is absolutely excellent. I would go as far as saying he is better than Cornette. He is a heel, isn't he? Do you know who I think is the real MVP of that show, its the young fella who does commentary with him. He is excellent at the doe eyed innocent straight man, whilst all the madness goes on around him. I think I'm going to get the PPV. Which is something I rarely do.

Loved the latest NWA Powerrr. Credit it where it's due, Aldis is really coming into his own as a heel. I think the good thing about the show is the crowd interaction. Not a perfect show, but just an easy watch. Liking Tim Storm more too. Eli Drake also. Some real talent there and they are all putting a shift in.

Well to be fair to both of the players, there is nothing in their game that would suggest to me that playing them on the wing is a good idea. At least Armstrong is rapid.

He was fit the first game and he didnt start. I would expect our fit, 6 or is it 7 million pound striker to start after having a year to settle in and scoring a few in pre season. Not Mowbray though.

Not happening here and in Breretons case I think Mowbray holds a lot of the responsibility. However Brereton and Gallagher have scored at this level. So , ya, it's not happening at the moment, but I wouldn't rule it out happening somewhere.

Lets call a spade a spade, Mowbray has completely made a balls of integrating Brereton. Good pre-season and he doesn't get a look in. Mowbray is a peculiar fella at times.

That's way , way too much to do in a January window. For all those lads perceived faults, I don't see how we could wholesale replace them this month, especially by signing frees which is what we would ultimately be doing. I don't think any club has ever made anything near that many transfers in and out in January, some not even in the summer!

My bet is he took a punt based on pretty as much as we could find out online in about 2 hours after hearing about Brereton for the 1st time. Along with making a few calls to ex managers to find out if he's a good lad. Look,clubs take punts sometimes and they dont't work out. It's just a pity it happened us when we don't have much cash. I don't think fans should boo him anyway. I really hope he proves a lot of us wrong form here.
