  1. I would have him go after Rollins, with the title and then have Finn Balor return as the demon to battle for it at Wrestlemania
  2. Mowbray hardly said he would get zero game time though. He was captain and started the weekend before. I find it strange he didn't stay and fight for his place. If this was planned, a new Captain would have been announced earlier.
  3. "it's just banter"
  4. A pretty decent player to be fair...
  5. I think that comes down to the fact that Mowbray has spoken about paying a new style, but at the same time hasn't changed the formation in any way. 3 at the back would suit the players we have better, but he won't pull the trigger on it, so we are still playing the same formation as in League 1 and now we will be back to focusing our play on long balls to Graham. It's poor management, particularly when you consider he has spent almost £20 million on players since we were promoted. It's not even about results, it's the fact the players look confused. If I could see that we were trying something different I would tend to be patient, but it seems now he has given up on the new style and Graham will be back in. Not against it, but, again, it's all very confused and lacking in conviction.
  6. The fans aren't happy with the Lennon appointment. They should have went all out for someone like Benitez imo
  7. Indeed, he always came across as a player who was really professional. I wouldn't imagine he had many late nights in the club. Stands to guys when they get to their mid 30s.
  8. I think Celtic will maybe just have enough to win the league, but the decisions since Rodgers left will probably allow Rangers to catch up to them before 10 in a row. You might be right though, it could even be as early as this season.
  9. Celtic have absolutely no reason to be surprised. They have gone for the budget option of manager and players. Ridiculous stuff with 10 in a row so close.
  10. Who are the players starting from the bottom can anyone tell me? How do you even end up in such a position
  11. The team, in my opinion, has to be this as it is our best 11 Walton Nyambe Lenihan Williams Cunningham Johnson Travis Downing Dack Rothwell Graham Tough calls with Williams or Tosin, but I think Williams and Lenihan have experience playing together so will give them the nod. I would also give Downing the nod over Armstrong. Do I think this will be the team? F**ked if I know. Bennett will surely play, probably Armstrong instead of Rothwell too. Honestly though, whatever about Bennett at right back, I really can't and don't want to be looking at Gallagher on the wing. It's stupid. Simple as that.
  12. Thanks. The search function on the site scares me. I can't use it at all ? In fairness to Mowbray, he had held off a long time from rightly criticizing the likes of Mulgrew and Lenihan even. It was long over due. His comments in interviews were very general I thought, he didn't really focus on anyone in particular. Not like he did with Raya. If Mulgrew and Lenihan can't take that, well I think they need to man up. I am only speculating on Lenihan in fairness.
  13. Oh no, I 100% agree it should be Graham. I don't even know why he was dropped at the start of the season.
  14. The thing as well though is, I think it's over stated, by Mowbray, about the long ball to Graham stuff. He is technically a good footballer and better finisher than our other strikers. It's not just that he is a lump who wins the ball. I don't see why we couldn't aspire to play possession based football with him in the side. It's just pigeon holing and a lack of flexibility from the manager
  15. https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/17836133.rovers-boss-mowbray-left-ponder-the-danny-graham-factor/ It will be Graham again. Mowbray didn't sign the right players or coach the current ones well enough to play any differently. The thing is with Dack and Graham up there and the likes of Johnson and Downing in the team, we will be better than last year. Add a more solid defence with Mulgrew out and I see no reason why we can't finish 14th
  16. Ya, I wonder did it go something like "you need to get rid of players before you sign any. Yes, that includes guys you gave fat new contracts to who are not good enough at championship level. Oh ya and if you don't compete for the play offs, you will get sacked" Something changed alright
  17. Of course Dack had somehting to do with it. I never said he didn't. He played the ball back and got fouled in the process. If a player puts a shot in from 25 yards in the last minute of the game to keep you in the cup, I would say they changed the game pretty much single handedly. If he didn't do it, for all Dack and Rothwells influence, we were out.
  18. Mowbray seems to be losing his marbles, so I wouldn't be surprised I wonder is he under more pressure than some of us give Venkys credit for
  19. I wonder did Mowbray rip Mulgrew and Lenihan out of it after the Charlton game? Hence why Mulgrew is gone and Lenihan is MIA with an extremely vague and last minute injury
  20. Ya, he did. His goal completely changed the game. We were going out until he stepped up with the quality to score it. We don't have many others who would have been able to do that.
  21. Although he actually did that! Ya, I think when it comes to actually influencing the game Dack is a flat track bully. He still scores and assists at Championship level, which is great, but he never looks like the best player on the field.
  22. I was thinking the same. It's a bit fishy to me Good post
  23. Can't blame him. He needs to focus on upping his on-field game.
