  1. So has it being confirmed that Bennett will be captain going forward and not just because Lenihan was injured?
  2. It's mad isn't it that Mowbray can identify a guy like this, but then fail to find someone else all summer after that deal fell through. Where is the plan B?
  3. People have been saying that "they write it off as tax" and other such theories for a while now. Yet, I have seen no detailed explanation on this. Is it that simple? I mean they have a lost a fortune and I don't think any creative accounting can offset that fully
  4. Cunningham will hardly be playing centre half
  5. We should be beating these with fringe players. Boro is the must win game
  6. Sounds positive! https://kotaku.com/morgana-wont-be-such-a-bedtime-dictator-in-persona-5-ro-1837048548
  7. Surely Samuel and Smallwood will get run outs here. Leutwiler too. Nyambe will be at centre half with probably Grayson. Hopefully Chapman ,Buckley and Brereton Leutwiler JRC Nyambe Grayson Cunningham Smallwood Evans Chapman Buckley Downing Brereton It will be something like this I reckon
  8. No, I got sidetracked by Detroit become human and Bloodstained on the Vita. Played a bit at the weekend though. Still on the bank palace. I am not giving up on it anyway.
  9. Maybe Tosin has been ripping it up so much at training that Mulgrew knew the gane was up Mowbray said in the interview he didn't tell him anything, but Mulgrew guessed where things were going. Ah ya, certainly more going on here than meets the eye. I'm sure it will come out eventually
  10. Personally I think it reflects poorly on Mulgrew. It's apparent either way that he left becuase he wouldn't be first choice. Grant Hanley was club captain at Norwich last season and barely featured. Mulgrew obviously wasn't prepared to do that or to try and win his place back. He had to be dropped.
  11. Or maybe the players know more about a potential free agent incoming...
  12. Maybe Mowbray told him he isn't even in the bench at the weekend, or even that he wasn't in the starting 11. In the interview Mowbray definitely makes it all sound very amicable, but the rushed nature suggests it wasn't.
  13. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him featuring in midfield for them
  14. Good post Ya, it tells a story that no one we know of came in for Dack. Very little links to him in general,.
  15. I think Johnson will lead without the band and I'm not a fan of giving the armband to a lad just in the door ahead of guys who have been here for years.
  16. It is a big season for Williams. He will be trying to stake his claim to be a first choice center half here. It's best bet for his international career also. He's not a super left back, but hopefully the experience of playing there will stand to him. Big, big season for him.
  17. I think most feel Williams is decent at CB. Lets see how that goes over a run of games though. I am not 100% convinced myself yet.
  18. Could be ,but I would say first choice right now is Lenihan and Williams. I don't even mind Nyambe as back up there, as long as Rankin-Costello is right back.
  19. So with a vacancy after arising who would you like to see given the armband? I have only included realistic candidates (in my opinion...and Mowbrays) so apologies if I left someone out My vote is for Lenihan. Loves the club, came through the academy, plays in a position I think works well for a captain. I think he would relish it. Ya, ya he's Irish too ?
  20. If this guy from City is a quality centre half, then it will move the window from average to good imo.
