btw- I think next season it's time to introduce a singing section in the Blackburn End!
-
well actually, its 4. Because there is the uefa 2nd qualifying round after the intertoto before you qualify for the uefa cup
-
Dont see the problem with it. Many say it ###### up their sides season but there are cases where good management (and we all seem pretty sure that we have that in place) can lead to a good season. One example i remember is Newcastle a few years back under Bobby Robson where they actually finished 4th or 3rd after starting in the inter-to-to. Also many clubs abroad (who have better managers than many of the muppets who have/are working in the PL) have gone on to do well in League and Europe after entering the inter-to-to, look at Valencia this season in the league. They also started in the intertoto

so, whats your point???? just to quote 'Lawro' "Everton will make it really hard for Blackburn, which is not normally what Rovers ensure they do to other teams" OH MY BLUMMIN GOD!!!! How many times has Lawro said the complete oposite about us, rather than what he's said today -
Worst performance I've seen since we've come back up. There is no way Im going to the Everton game after wasting my money on that ######. Pathetic! None of them even tried, no one!
-
Oh my word, it's been great today at college Love this interview by Sav on Rio Sav taunts Rio Rovers v Barca next season me thinks!
-
Our new friend Mark Hansen (lol) has predicted only Rovers 2nd win of the season for this game. 1-2 Rovers he's gone
-
Im pretty sure that Newcastle will be looking as Mike Newell as their next manager with Shearer as assistant. If he's not on that list then he must have very high odds!?
-
maybe we should let WBA win on Saturday just to put Brum in the sh(t even more! Well, that will be my excuse is we lose anyway
-
Oh come on, what decent manager would be mad enough to take charge of Newcastle at the moment. There team is a totall mess.

Anyone else hear Fergie slagging off rovers for being dirty. Said something like "I cant and never have defended Rovers for their tag, and the evidence showed that tonight" hhahhaaihahaha Whatever Fergie!! hahah. The real evidence is Rovers 4-3 Manure

Dont really know what to make of that game really. Always felt Rovers were in control for the whole game yet we let in 4 goals?! At least we know who is the better defender between Todd and Zura now(its Todd btw!).If we had Nelsen on, we would have AT LEAST forced a replay. Reid was Rovers best player by a mile and I could not understand why the rest of the team just didnt give him the ball at every opportunity. Reid has really turned into one of Rovers better players now and seems to be playing well on the right wing! Now, Mokoena yet again had a mare against West Ham and really should be sold ASAP(if he was a Souness buy.......well, you all know). He was at fault for 2 of the West Ham goals aswell. And there is a reason why people suggest that MGP should be sold if we get good money for him, it's because in 50% of the games he plays in, he's a liability and should not be in the team. He deserves to be dropped against United on Wednesday but he wont be. I was also puzzled with Hughes' subs. Kuqi was causing all sorts of trouble(who was 10 x's better today btw) and while Bentley was having a decent game he just failed to read his flick on's. I reallt felt there was no need to take off both strikers. As Tugay should have been brought on at half time. No idea why the pen was given and nor did the players. Never heard of that ref before but was clearly a homer. We really did not need a striker on todays evidence, just Ryan Nelsen
-
so then, you two cant moan if(or when) Rovers lose on Wednesday.

You have to realise though. Bentley was playing upfront on his own and linked between midfield and a forward position very well. -

Proud of the lads, but for some reason it didn't seem like we threw everything at United in the last 10mins? Having said that, we played some cracking footie at times and never resulted to long ball tactics(Bolton style) although maybe we should have. Anyone else feel we needed to be more Bully Boy like, at time tonight? Anyway, i felt Nelsen,Zurab, Tugay(despite his mistake) and Bentley stood out for me today. If only we had Dickov at least, we may have created a few more chances. Oh well, we have to go win the FA Cup now! Although im not sure im too interested in Saturdays game at the moment. -

It took Rovers 43 years to win at OT, now we have to win twice there in 5months! Just thought I'd add that stat- anyways... my prediction Man Yoo 2-2 Rovers AET Rooney (28) Pedersen (61) Van Nistelrooy (95) Kuqi (117) ROVERS GO BACK TO CARDIFF!!!!
