  1. It’s blue and white, it’s nice enough. Sorted. Now SIGN SOME PLAYERS TOO WEAR IT.
  2. Maybe he’s got his hands in his pockets and there’s nothing in there? Got a bad feeling The chicken farmers have turned the old money tap off... Again. You can’t really expect Mowbray too come out and say that either with the club desperately trying too shift season tickets. It’s shit it really is, we aren’t doing anything this season with this current squad.
  3. Nuttall and Samuel will never be good enough too play championship football regularly, probably not even league one. If Brereton hadn’t cost 7 million i’d Be saying the same on him.
  4. Seen as we don’t play with two up top I highly doubt that, Mowbray will probably stuck Gallagher on the wing like he did with Brereton most of the time. EDIT: Sorry just realised you put 20/21 season. Ignore me
  5. No matter what Mowbray comes out and says he’ll only be judged on the players we bring in, just like any other manager. If we don’t bring in two defenders i’ll be pissed off.
  6. Replace one ginger ninja with another, don’t think Colback would be a terrible addition but we need two new defenders before anything else. The thought of Bell at left back and Williams/Mulgrew at centre half in the starting line up this season makes me want too projectile vomit.
  7. Joe Day, the Newport keeper voted the best in league two and who looked really good in the playoffs has been snapped up by Cardiff. Him and Vaulks both gone there, both players who were mentioned on here.
  8. The ideal scenario is putting Magloire in? No, the ideal scenario is buying a f**king centre half!
  9. So you’re expecting us too bring in players who are better than “mid table championship” quality? F**k me you’re going too be seriously pissed off come the end of this window aren’t you ?
  10. You wouldn’t have taken Stephen Ward as a backup too Bell? I personally feel we need a new starting left back but if we haven’t got the budget then Ward would have been an able deputy for Bell. Lee Gregory also, better than Samuel Nuttall and Brereton. Plus you’d definitely take a fully fit Powell, and like you said Liam Lindsay is a good signing. We wouldn’t have been able too offer the wages Stoke have probably paid them but people saying they wouldn’t take any of them here I don’t buy at all.. Be interesting to compare our business with theirs at the end of the summer.
  11. Also set too sign Stephen Ward, left back who’s been released by Burnley. Good blend of young potential and experience they have signed. I’ve seen some say they aren’t impressed but I personally wouldn’t have turned down any of these lads.
  12. That’s how you do it ?? Wouldn’t have said no too any of these signings.
  13. Rich Sharpe just tweeted that Rodwell wasn’t expected at the start of pre season yesterday. I don’t mind whether he stays or goes, I won’t mind if he leaves and if he stays then fair enough. He didn’t show enough consistency for me, looked a class above some games and invisible in others.
  14. Stead for half a season was an unreal signing, his goals helped keep us up. Great memory when he scored the winner at home too United. Big step up for him coming from league one but he looked like he was going too be a world beater at first, of course it didn’t work out like that.. But on the original point, I agree, I can’t think of many more that we signed from lower league clubs when we were in the prem, any that made any sort of impact anyway. Just remembered Steven Reid, he wasn’t a bad signing either from Millwall at the time, worth it for that goal at Wigan alone!
  15. Decent player, think I’ve seen the dingles linked with him as well as a couple of higher end championship clubs, no harm in testing the waters with a bid but who knows if we’ve got enough money to do so.
  16. Well we are just fooked then. Another season of mid table mediocrity pending. That’s as most as we could hope for with our current squad.
  17. If we sign Gallagher too play up top then yes he’d be a good signing. If we sign Gallagher too play on the wing in the Armstrong role of not tracking back and just not even being a winger in the first place then it’s a no. Don’t know why anyone is talking about changing manager though, he’s not done much wrong and if he hasn’t got a pot too piss in this summer it won’t make a difference who’s in charge we won’t be making the play offs even if Pep was our manager.
  18. Anyone else get the feeling that a Downing or a Frank Fielding May be a done deal but TM doesn’t want that too be announced as our first signing when we are at a time where season ticket sales are horrendous and the club are trying too shift more? Could be the case. EDIT: Just seen on Twitter that Downing’s odds of joining us have gone in from 7/4 too 1/5. Someone knows something!
  19. I don’t care I’m never going there again, in my last 4 visits there I’ve seen us draw once and get absolutely smashed 3 times. I’m not going there again the place is cursed ?
  20. At a time when the club are trying too shift season tickets the last thing they’d allow is for Mowbray too come out and say, “sorry lads they’ve turned the money tap off, just a few frees and a couple of loans for us this summer”... I hope he’s got money too spend but with our owners who bloody knows. Like I said, see where we are come August but I’m not hopeful.
  21. Might be out of his hands, the chicken farmers may have turned the money tap off again. Lets see where we are come the start of August.
  22. That talk went quiet about a week after there promotion and he was being linked too numerous championship clubs, regardless of whether they went up or didn’t he was always going too go in my opinion. From the minute he refused to sign that new deal at the start of this season just gone, he was going.
