Never said Bamford wasn’t good enough for us.. I made my post in reply too the comparison between him and Rhodes, Like I said I never said Bamford wasn’t good enough too play for us, I just think he has a standing in the game with some football supporters higher than what it should be.

You buy a striker too score goals. Rhodes got over 20 league goals in the championship 3 years in a row for us, that was after 36 in 40 games in league one the year before he signed for us. Bamford will never do that. He really isn’t all that.

That’s what I remember hearing. He wasn’t far from bankruptcy and he was still playing! The signing on fee and extra wages at Villa I don’t think he could turn down even if he wanted too. There’s probably some truth behind the fact he wasn’t keen on Ince but he was leaving that summer regardless unfortunately.

Hanley will more than likely cost a few million, if we are going too spend that on a centre half you want someone who’s going too be starting every week not a back-up option.. A fully fit and fired up Hanley is better than any defender we’ve currently got.

That’s what I mean, he’s still very raw but I believe he’ll be a top class keeper one day. I’m not against bringing another keeper in as competition who might even be better than Raya at this moment in time but don’t let the lad go and keep Leut as number two. That would be a poor move.

Well I’d want at least 6 million plus a HUGE sell on clause because I think a few years from now Raya will be an absolute star. This would be almost on par with selling Cairney too Fulham in terms of stupidity for me.. Raya is nowhere near the finished article yet and when he is we won’t be fielding bids from Brentford that’s for sure!

Andrews wouldn’t walk into our side he really was horrendous, but the Pedersen of 2004-2008 would walk into all the premier league sides currently outside the top six never mind a mid table championship team!

I wouldn’t get too angry over the Gladwin situation, it seems that he’s going to be allowed to continue his rehab here on what I can imagine is minimal money and once he’s got himself back fit he’ll be able to find himself another club. He’s not going too be given a 3 year deal I wouldn’t worry about that ?

Completely disagree, our striker options for next season should be Brereton Graham and a new signing. Preferably the new signing will be someone who goes straight into the first team leaving Brereton and Graham as different options from the bench. How can you justify starting Brereton next season, unless he turns into 2007 Benni McCarthy in the summer it’s a no from me. He’s not ready yet.

Bidwell released by QPR.. Potential left back option, mixed opinion from QPR fans on him but I know he’s a name that’s been mentioned on here.. They’ve also released Pawel Wzolek, winger who I wouldn’t be against bringing in for a bit of competition because we are obviously seriously lacking out and out wingers and on his day this lad can play a bit. There’s also a view that these two lads were released as they were two of the higher earners at the club, so I know some people might automatically think “if they are getting released from QPR, they aren’t good enough for us” but just bare that in mind before you crucify me for suggesting them as possible signings.. I can see us buying a couple of players for fees but a club like us has got too utilise the free agent market also and we could do a lot worse than these two I think.

I think anyone saying he’s worth keeping has a short memory, he wasn’t good enough in league one never mind the championship. Unless he’s got better since that massive injury, which without playing he won’t have. Loan him out for the season and see what he can do.. He shouldn’t be anywhere near our side next season.

Knowing us it won’t be any time soon.. Home shirt maybe start of July end of June and away shirt towards the end of July. That’s a guess by the way..

Would anyone take Foderingham from Rangers as competition for Raya? He’s been number 2 there since they re-signed McGregor and there fans think very highly of him, I think he’s solid enough, wouldn’t be the worst signing we could make.
