Agree entirely. Wouldn’t say Obi Mikel is the right option for centre mid though, he’ll be on big money plus he’s in the same boat as Smallwood and Evans, midfield stoppers who don’t contribute anything to the attacking third of the field, although Obi Mikel does that job better than them two I think we need too add a centre mid who can actually score a goal as the amount of goals our centre mids have scored in the last few years is horrendous too say the least. Vaulks from Rotherham would be a good signing for me, chips in with a few and works hard. I think he could be a gem at an affordable price... I think Carsons wages could be a stumbling block too, let’s see how much we want it over these next couple of months. ?

Fantastic keeper who had a very bad start too this season and lost his place in the team for a while.. Might need a change of scenery after a few years at Ipswich, if we can get this guy back in form I think Raya would be struggling too get in the side.

Massive money for us, if it’s true we’ve set our demands at that level then that shows we aren’t willing too just cash in without it being worth our while. You’re not wrong. I’ve been saying a while I like Jon Taylor from Rotherham, similar sort of player to Chapman. Small, pacey and good at running at defenders. Wouldn’t mind him at all.. Who knows though, Mowbray may have found something better abroad. We’ll wait and see

Good shout that. Still only 28 which is pretty young for a goalkeeper.. He’s been unlucky that Newcastle brought that Dubravka in who’s been very solid for them. Outside the top six I’d say he’s right up there as one of the best... Just had a gander at out of contract players and I saw that Danny Williams is out of contract. Impressed for Reading over a few years in the championship and was part of their side who got beat off Huddersfield in the play-off final. Huddersfield then signed him and he played in over 20 games in their first season in the prem before falling out of favour this season. He’s a big guy who gets stuck in but is also good technically, USA international. Just a suggestion, decent player.

Sturridge is finished mate, be surprised if he’s still playing in a couple of years time. Shame really, he had that really good season alongside Suarez and looked like he was going too be a top player for years too come. Shame his body wouldn’t let him.

I agree that on his day he’s class but I do also think he has too many “invisible” games also.. However, Dacks profile is a lot higher than Vaulks Lolley and Browne. I honestly believe we’d get 10-15 million for him, I don’t think he’s ready for the prem yet but I don’t think it’s out of the realms of possibility that a prem club would come in for him.. Saying that though, the chicken farmers sold Cairney for 3 million so who knows if they’ll be planning on taking 5 million and selling our main man for a quick buck..

I’d rather have Marquis from Donny. Scored a lot of goals over the last three years for them. Can play the Graham role but is a lot more mobile than DG also, good player.

Think tonight also showed how far we are away from being near the top end of this league. Norwich were unstoppable at times going forward today and despite our best efforts after the first 20 minutes it still could have been 4 or 5.. We got as high as we did earlier in the season through team spirit and out working teams, it’s been clear all season we lack that extra quality needed to sustain a top six/promotion push. I hope TM gets backed this summer because if we can add 3 or 4 players that improve the spine of our team and those around that 3 or 4 put their bodies on the line like our lads have done in say 80% of our games this season ? Then I feel we’d be able to compete.. Massive summer ahead.
