  1. Why are people suddenly of the opinion Samuel is a good player? He played enough in the division below for us too know he’s no better than Brereton or Gallagher!
  2. Maybe you could ask yourself why he is unliked by fans, you posted this in the summer mate saying you’d have got rid of him ??
  3. Been listening a while, best football podcast about.
  4. Bit harsh on Holtby, he was class away at Bristol city and has had some good cameos off the bench. Needs a run in the team.
  5. Have they spent 15 million alone on strikers? They might have more money than us but Mowbray has been given his fair share and wasted it.
  6. Your view changes twice a week though Chaddy, It wasn’t that long ago you thought Mowbrays time was up.
  7. Yet another sad day for the club and the fans. Brereton ain’t up too it but Jesus the way he was ironically cheered and booed off the pitch was an absolute disgrace talk about kicking a man whilst he’s down, I feel sorry for the lad. He’s nowhere near good enough but he can’t help having being bought for the money we paid for him. Just cut our losses and let him go and rebuild his career elsewhere.. With us not going up or going down in the league a bit of a cup run would have been nice, but as the old saying of “typical Rovers” goes we go and get beat off a team with 10 men in the last minute. This club doesn’t half piss me off at times.
  8. Hmm, not sure I agree. I remember a lot of games in league one where Samuel was singled out for a lot of criticism. He’s just not good enough.
  9. Big dog turning down an Irish international? Surely not
  10. And it worked brilliantly, when you play a basic formation like that you need to be organised and hard working and we were that today, as well as when we had the ball getting it forward quickly and knocking it around really well. Really good performance today and it showed we can actually play more than one formation. Nyambe was excellent, Johnson scored a goal and set up one which for someone who hasn’t had much game time recently was impressive. Holtby was excellent on the ball, Benno put a shit in, Travis did what he does and Gallagher ran his bollocks off. Brereton looked poor, had his chance today up front and it was the usual from him, he seems low on confidence but at the same time I’m questioning whether the ability is even there to begin with... Anyway, nice little break now till Wigan at home who are in shocking form. Get in boys, what a few weeks it’s been for us.
  11. Knowing our luck we’ll be back out for the second half with 9 men. Not sure what sparked that. Just before half time Johnson looked to have had a go at Mowbray but a minute later they’d made up. Didn’t see what sparked the tunnel frenzy though.
  12. Nyambe is so quick when he gets the after burners on. Got there full back on toast!
  13. And not enough ability either! (Hope he proves me wrong and bags now)
  14. I’m liking this 442. Seems to Brereton and Gallagher up top with Holtby on the right and Benno on the left, we are looking dangerous on the counter. Brereton isn’t up to it though from what I’ve watched so far. Lads got no confidence.
  15. With the prices of Atlético and PSG you may as well have just done Swansea on their own!
  16. Didn’t know where to put this but it’s brightened up my day ??
  17. They’ve no win in 5. We’ve won our last 4. How often do we see the form book go out the window in the championship though? Big test tonight and if we come through it we are in great shape. Come on boys!!
  18. That’s us F***ed then, cheers Merce.
  19. “The Whites are going up” This tweet made me chuckle, as did the choice of song by the Chuckle Brothers themselves ?
  20. With the terrible injury he sustained in that car crash I’d be surprised if he plays football again, Keogh. Out for a year minimum as it is, wouldn’t be going in for him when he’s back fit, if he loses any more pace my Grandma and her two metal knees would be able to out-run him.
  21. Derby have 6 points from 9 away games this season. Our home form has been pretty solid and we are back in form now.... Away banker. ?
  22. I second this. I’ve been going on Ewood since 2001 and I’ve never known Birmingham bring a good following in that time.
  23. But we are struggling to get 10k home fans on?
