It’s crazy really, this season just gone was a “weak” league with not many teams you’d be scared of playing apart from that Leeds side. And this coming season I don’t particularly think the standard of teams has increased much, what I mean is never has there been a better chance to challenge for promotion and the wheels just seem to have come off for us completely, cashless and hopeless it seems.

Danny Ward had a great season for Huddersfield the season they got promoted from the Championship, he signed for Leicester in 2018 but hasn’t made one league appearance yet. He’s 27 now so surely he’ll want to be a number 1 soon enough, very good keeper. Doubt we’d be able to afford a fee but if Leicester were willing to loan him out we should be all over that. Decent number two for them to have though so it’s probably unlikely.

Yeah Salgado was an absolute legend I loved him, I just don’t know about Baines in the championship at his age and his lack of pace would go. I’d rather us bring Cunningham back if we can and if he’s recovered well from his injury.

35 years old, played 13 games in two seasons. Great player in his prime but he’s way past that and he was never the quickest when he was a youngster, anyone with half a yard of pace would have a field day against him these days no matter what league it’s in.

Well he’s been here long enough and had the financial backing to get the players in to play a 352 which he hasn’t managed to do... You’d play Bell wing back? Me personally I’ll be pissed off if we extend his contract to 2021. He should be off this summer. And you’d play Harry Chapman at right wing back?! I know there’s less defensive responsibility as a wing back but you’ve still got to get back and defend! Holtby has shown some real glimpses of quality, not on enough occasions arguably but I think he’s shown enough to be worth keeping for his last year before his contract runs out in 2021. Johnson is frustrating, he’s had some excellent games this season but he’s also had his fair share of stinkers. Saying that, there hasn’t been many of our players who have been consistent in their performances ?

And they’ve never come back!

I think Gareth Ainsworth or Barnsley’s gaffer Struber would be my two choices if Mowbray was to go but like I’ve said, there’s not a chance Tony leaves anytime soon so it’s a pointless discussion!
