Nyambe was our best player today. All the back four played well to be fair. The rest not so much, Johnson had probably the worst performance I’ve seen from a Rovers player in a while, so many sloppy passes. We can bounce back Wednesday though, it will suit us a lot more playing a side who is going to attack us rather than park the bus.

The tactical approach that worked so well in the first three games when we should have got something at Bournemouth and then smashed Wycombe and Derby? We were always going to struggle today with a midfield three of Buckley Evans and Johnson. We’ll be a different animal when Holtby and Rothwell get back in the side, for all some people don’t rate Rothwell we badly missed his drive today. We’ve got Douglas to come in for Bell and Elliott to come in for Brereton. No need to over react, football is a cruel game sometimes we didn’t deserve to win today but we definitely didn’t deserve to lose. Our MOTM Nyambe or Ayala today for me.

Not someone you’re going to say no to having as a squad player, and I think the dressing room needs someone of his experience in as well, he showed last season he still has good quality on the ball. Can’t see him being on fortunes either.

6 wing options? Chaddy, If Elliott takes Breretons spot on the left of that front three then it’s a definite improvement?? He’s played on the left and the right from what I’ve read so that’s good.

Looking like the best transfer window we’ve had in a while. I won’t lie I’m actually quite optimistic about the season ahead! That being said though my only worry is if Arma was to get injured we don’t have anyone to replace his goals or even a fraction of them up top, Brereton and Gallagher are poor backup options striker wise but hey ho, top six here we come lads ?

Kaminski has looked good so far, there are times you think he should probably catch it but the main thing is he never palms the ball into trouble in them situations, he palms it clear. I think the Big Belgian will be good for us ??

Two completely different players, ones a centre mid and ones a number 10. Both class though.

We can’t afford both, we definitely can’t afford to spend a fee on both that’s for sure.

I agree left back has to be the priority, if we have the funds to spend on ONE player it has to be a left back 100% and I agree with you that I don’t believe Whiteman is better than what we’ve got. When Travis is fit, our midfield three has to be Travis Holtby and Johnson, Rothwell has shown in glimpses he can be good there too. Then we’ve got Davenport and Buckley as backup options, we’d be crazy to spend money on a centre mid when we’ve got a position in left back that needs filling desperately.

There’s not a chance you can remember the performance of a left back from an international game between two shit teams you were probably half watching a few weeks ago. Why do you say these things Chaddy ? If we sign him let’s judge him in a Rovers shirt, he can’t be any worse than Bell who actually played well yesterday for once to be fair.

Handled that big lump Moore well enough, he’s the sort of player we need on the bench as a Plan B. Gallagher has the build for it but just isn’t that sort of player, who knows what sort of player Gallagher is at the minute, 5 million pounds f**k me.

Frustrating afternoon, Cardiff are an ugly side but to be fair to them they sat back (particularly after going a man down) and they kept us at bay, final ball just not there for us today. I do want to say though, I’ve massively slagged the guy off for a long time now but I thought Bell had a good game today. How good does Cardiffs right back look by the way? Kid on loan from arsenal, what a player. We regroup now and let’s hope we can bounce back next game, just one of those days today in terrible conditions.
