  1. Why's everyone on Reid's back, i though he played well today. But in some good challenges and he was basically doing two mens work all afternoon. He an improvement on MGP. This Midfield would be good me thinks: ----- Emerton --------- Ferguson -------------- Reid -------------- Thommo ---
  2. The highlight of today was the chant from the Rovers fans towards the police ('you only sh1t on your own fans, Sh1t on your own fans'). That says it all really Also i'd like to remark on some idiot on Radio Rovers who said Ferguson as been poor and we should sell him. What's matches as he been to, what a d1ckhead. Also well done ref , you won Boro the game i'm your proud. ROVERS FOREVER
  3. As long as he doesn't start swearing at us
  4. Well if Bazza goes we will be really knackered, just lets hope not *fingers crossed*
  5. If Everton are in for him we must have a chance
  6. Lets hope he's in the team for the Boro game he is the best option on Left midfield for us in IMO.
  7. Yorke Scored, are you sure, serious come on. Did he, no he can't have, come off it
  8. If we play with a defensive midfielder like we did yesterday, we must play with Flitty there casue Tugay was awful he just aien't a defensive midfielder and he very rarely puts in any sort of tackle. Whereas Flitty will put tackles in, okay he may give free-kicks away but it gives the "defenders" a chance to get back in postion. Something like this would be good me thinks: -------------- Flitty ----------- Emo -------- Bazza ------ MGP-- ------------ Youri ------------- I think that would work a lot better. Also i noticed that Youri sloted in very well when Bazza got foward.
  9. Well That is League one (old money: divison 2), he could be worth a try he always reminds me of a young Flitcroft for some reason. Also i'd love to see Thommo in the middle with Bazza
  10. To be honest Stead didn't play that long today but whilst he was on he did a great turn on the ball and was unlucky not to get a penalty* * please check english dictionary if you've forgetton the meaning of this word
  11. Yep it's fair to say that Bazza was outstanding today, lets just hope Mr.Souness was not watching
  12. Just finnished top of my league, but now i face a quailifaction game to gain promotion, oh the tension
  13. Today he was brilliant he had the freedom to get foward (which he hasn't have in previous games) and looked dangerous.
  14. We actually did look quite threating going foward, but the defense was terrible especially from set pieces Player Ratings Friedel - 6 - Made one good save from Carlton Cole. Neill - 7 - A good solid game Amo - 5 - He was lucky not to cost us a goal, mis timed headers clearances staright up in the air, poor game. Matteo - 6 - Nothing outstanding Gray - 6 - Got foward a lot but left us short at the backa couple of times. Emerton - 8 - It was great to see him running at defenders, well taken goal. Tugay - 5 - Didn't influence the game at all FERGUSON - 9 1/2 - Magnificent, worked hard all game. Made bursting runs through the centre, some great passing. Deserved MOTM. Jansen - 5 - Didn't do much Djorkaeff - 7 - a good solid debut, brilliant pass for emerton's goal. Dickov - 9 - Worked his socks of. --------- Flitty - 6 - Few good tackles but he aien't a winger now is he. Stead - 6 - One great turn but that was it, gave ball away a couple of times and kinda fell over when he had shooting oppurtunity. --------- Overall a more than deserved points
  15. Standing just creates problems for one some people won't be able to see. I.e. Little people won't be able to see the game because of taller people infront. Also people will stand anywhere, and you'd have people moaning, complaining. Standing was in the past, Seating is the future and it is much safer IMO.
  16. Match Preview – Charlton (Away) Well last season at the Valley it was a thrilling game and I’m sure we’ll all be hoping for more of the same on Monday, but hopefully this time we’ll be celebrating getting some points. Previous Meetings Charlton 3-2 Rovers (21/02/2004) – Last Seasons game and what a gem it was, a second half comeback from Rovers saw Brad score in injury time to equalizer the game only for Charlton to go down the other end and score to win the match. Charlton 3-1 Rovers (24/11/2002) - Thommo with the goal for Rovers. Charlton 0-2 Rovers (22/12/2001) – Duff & Dunn scoring back in 2001 for Rovers at the Valley. Back to the Present After winning our first game of the premiership season last Saturday, Mark Hughes will be hoping to continue on winning ways. It will be Mark Hughes’ first away game in charge and the team he’s goin to pick is totally open for debate. But I suspect we will play our normal 4-4-2 formation or he may opt for a 4-5-1 formation, only time will tell. The team is also sure to be determinted to make up for the early mid-week cup exit. Charlton Charlton have started of the season fairly average with 8 points from 6 games. The latest being a 1-1 draw away to Birmingham. The team is sure to be high on confidence after beating Grimsby 2-0 in mid-week. Charlton Star Man – Dennis Rommedahl – Very pacey, sure to give Rovers right side problems Predication Right Here’s my prediction for the game: Charlton 2-2 Rovers Friedel Neill, Amo, Matteo, Gray Emo, Bazza, Flitty, MGP Stead, Dickov COME ON ROVERS !!!
  17. Both Stead & MGP are now on. We are all over them 20 shots on target. Emerton sounds like he's having a blinder.
  18. You sure there aien't beena mistake well done Emo !!!
  19. Not abad line-up really i'd prefer to see Pedersen playing to gain expirence. Oh well come on rovers 5-2
  20. That Ricardo Fuller was awful i'm glad we did't sign him he complained evertime he got tackled and missed 2 one on ones from 5 yards, also the so called penatly appeal did anyone see it proper i coudn't really see it from my seat in BBE the ref booked him for diving, and ref's are never wrong
