  1. Just seen their equaliser on Sky - absolute fluke. Very frustrating but going a gola down and then nearly winning it is positive.
  2. Absolutely, the three I worry about for sure.
  3. First game of the season champ And we are winning it
  4. That absolute clown, gets far more wrong than he does right. Unfortunately the modern age of journalism is about generating clicks which he seems to be able to do by throwing out bullsh*t.
  5. I'd be shocked if we did anything today, everything points to a mad scramble on Wednesday & Thursday next week in my opinion. Big T holding out for his A's & B's before we jump to the J list at 11pm on Thursday, end up with Beevers and Jason fucking Lowe as Bolton have realised his touch is further than the rest of their squad can kick it.
  6. Don't, it's painful. I remember at the time wanting us to be better though, the 6th place finishes, FA Cup semi, UEFA Cup runs etc were great but I wanted us to kick on. What a spoilt fucking brat was I, I'd kill for a 10th of all that now.
  7. I've got a feeling you're going to end up chuffed by the end of the window. Fair enough it's not been great so far but the signs are encouraging.
  8. Ironically I'm currently between 'actual' jobs so all I do is sit on here and try and cheer up the dour. You're going to be my toughest challenge.
  9. Whilst you are it why not end poverty and develop a cure for AIDS
  10. Agreed, highly unlikely we shall see anything happen before Monday.... next week will be stressful I suspect.
  11. This. Betting on clubs to get desperate and putting the message out on the media that were not going to pay what they're currently asking. Though some of his press conferences have been a little muddled so part of me wonders if he bothers to think along those lines.
  12. The "in some ways" meant he was a great impact player to have from the bench.
  13. Full matches? None. But I suspect you know this hence your question so I will refer you to the "in some ways" part of my post.
  14. Interesting to hear that neither of them are top of the list, encouraging in some ways as they were two of our best players last year. I wouldn't expect him to admit it if they were however - might be a tactic to get them to lower their asking price for Arma.
  15. If true we surely, SURELY have to be about to bring in another striker....... I mean we wouldn't let a young lad go out on loan and not have someone already lined up to repla..... ah.
  16. Don't disagree. Given the chance you'd hope he'd want to come here over not playing at Newcastle. I'd say £15k+ is a realistic guess of his wages and it's the most obvious reason as to why we haven't signed him yet - combined with Newcastle's asking price. Very frustrating as he was a big part of the reason we kicked on after Xmas last year and I think he has enough to be a decent Championship player for us.
  17. You'd hope the lad would understand that his best football has always come under Mowbray, he's been here and been successful and would be playing in a group of lads that he appears to get on with really well. Unfortunately money talks though so we may have to hope that no one else comes in for him and we are his only option on deadline day.
  18. I'm becoming increasingly convinced that Armstrong will be our buy that 'eclipses' the Dack fee - around the £1.25m mark. Charlton aren't budging on Bauer and I suspect Big T will have thought he could get him for £500k give or take and in truth we have cover in that area. Hopefully we then get Chapman on loan as I can't see us buying him because of his injury record combined with our tiny budget. This is based on nothing more than a feeling after my morning coffee gave me a chance to have a proper think about the situation on the shitter.
  19. This is the world we find ourselves in now unfortunately. 8 years of chronic mismanagement and corruption from the owners and the vultures that made the most of the situation.
  20. Middle aged??? You can @#/? right off. Pal.
