  1. I'm just trying to understand why you hate the idea of supporting another country. As if it would even matter. And I'm not trying to catch you out, I'm just offering the same scenario with different clubs. The Manc in my scenario lived in Manchester all his life with ManUtd supporting parents, who took him to Utd games til he was about 10, but he then said 'nah I like blackburn' in 2004. I would find it odd if you were to call him a traitor for that. Similarly I don't support England in football while there are still deplorable people in it's 1st team. Instead I currently support any underdog (including vs England).
  2. So you'd equally deride a Manc born in Manchester to ManUtd fans supporting Blackburn? I know 2 people in this sort of get-up (the other born to a Liverpool fan).
  3. Methinks he's asking a valid question. Surely if you deride someone supporting another country, playing for another is just as bad?
  4. Depends which country brings you more happiness. Would you be upset if Mo Farah supported Britain vs Somalia?
  5. While tasteless, it's just the society we live in now. How long til we're allowed to joke about it? My opinion is you can joke about anything to anyone you wish. Boundaries are entirely personal. I realise it's very different but I don't mind deaf jokes at all.
  6. Be careful Al, that's 2 things we agree on now.....
  7. Ron Weasley: She NEEDS to sort out her priorities.
  8. Wasn't it BT?
  9. England has had 10 clubs appear in the Champion's League (Us, Utd, City, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Leeds, Everton, Newcastle and Spurs). Spain has had 14 (can't be arsed listing): http://www.eurocupshistory.com/champions_league/spain_clubs You can use stats how you want ofc, but I believe Spain is definitely more competitive than England.
  10. At what point did I sledge Bob Dylan btw?
  11. That and 'Yo Sushi!' are complete crap.
  12. Tbf Stuart, I'm also a fan of Dylan but queueing for that long? Not my thing. You make wrestling sound easy! Try it some day, it's hard as hell. Dropping 6/7ft onto your back onto a relatively solid mat (hardly gym mats) hurts. And doing that about a dozen times in 10mins on top of various athletic jumps. Just because it's choreographed, that doesn't make it easier or less entertaining. It's essentially athletics and acting combined. I get as much from that as I do from competitive sports like MMA or boxing (if not more because it's so OTT and ridiculous).
  13. Thanks darling I suppose it's not normal to go and watch your favourite tv show get recorded :/ Well colour me weird And GAV said I was odd.....
  14. I feel same about Anaz dem clean windows! Any review of that Mexican you tried (or am I mixing up members?)
  15. If you could reveal to me why you think it's odd, feel free.
  16. I enjoyed Phantom Menace for one reason only: Double-edged sabre. Phwoar!!! (Odd that technology was more advanced in the past, mind).
  17. Maybe Venkys Out
  18. Yeah....seriously. Managed ringside seats but unfortunately on the camera-side so less likely to be on TV. But I'll try and sneak in a Benoit sign or something.
  19. Next year I have McBusted (the missus, I swear!), Runrig, Lee Evans and Lee Mack to look forward to And the small matter of WWE Raw live at the O2 on my birthday
  20. Isn't that a pile treatment?
  21. He can shove his £2k car reg and indifferent indian food up his arse.
  22. I'm not a cricket fan apart from the Ashes series. But I would like to know why 'not walking' in cricket is cheating, but 'playing to the whistle' in football is good play. Is there really a difference? I see both as just 'waiting for the official decision', unless I'm missing something (I apologise if I am, btw).
  23. Where's Resh's? I'm generally an Anaz fan, but happy to try a new place.
