  1. I agree with this, and when the club has run the next gen games we've either lost or played poorly, if we suddenly go on a 8/9 game run and starting heading towards the play offs we'll get an increase, if we somehow manage to stay there. There will be a naturally generated buzz around the area that will see an increase. Ok its not going to be 25k but I reckon we'd start pushing towards 15k
  2. The one thing Gallagher hasn't had is chances he feeds off nothing or is shunted wide, any creativity in the team is shut down
  3. He's laying the ground work, fans unrealistic owners backed me then he can play the nice guy card. To me if he walks fair enough but ultimately its his fault he's not done the required work on the squad in terms of balance. I'd like us to win Wednesday and go on a run but to me it sounds like he's already conceded defeat that's his undoing. After Saturday he could have used it as a rallying cry instead it was an oh woe is me working class etc.
  4. Mowbrays comments might be laying the ground work for resigning before he's fired, I still think he went to Pune in October to get more time and take the heat off himself. He's talked us up this season so i'd expect he's done the same with the owners they might be putting the pressure on hence putting this out there then walking rather than being fired. He can then look for a mid table league two club and start his whole working class man mantra again
  5. Pantilimon is dross I have seen him numerous times and he has always got a mistake in him, Gayle was mentioned above he is on huge wages. He was given a new contract last season at Newcastle and is on around 50k. With the service we provide our strikers he wouldn't score anyway and he'd get shunted wide to accommodate Dack playing as a false nine that never works. Kingsley again is another bang average jobber, i'd rather the club focused on quality acquisitions at the back I won't hold my breath though. Its more likely to be loans and a freebie if we are lucky
  6. I mentioned this when I had a meeting with LT and SW offer fans some flexibility said they'd consider it then did nothing else about it
  7. you are welcome Mick you know it as well as I do, then the next appointment will be a cheap desperado
  8. tbh don't see Mowbray going anytime soon, I think he would only be under threat if we were bottom three and looking all but doomed
  9. Yes they will he’s not bullet proof, he’ll get potted if we end up in the bottom 3, it will be like Coyle again. It will happen January time can’t see them doing anything before then
  10. In a normally run club the awful form of the last 10 months would see him potted. We could lose the next two and he won’t get sacked, if they do it will be jan/Feb time if we are bottom 3
  11. neither were any of our attacking midfielders, Gallagher has been well and truly mowbrayed same will happen with Holtby far to creative for TM
  12. I do wonder if Tony is under any pressure from Pune, same problems today and he's shown little ability to change that. Poor subs again and poor summer recruitment coming back to bite, that said I can't see him being potted as long as we aren't bottom 3
  13. Maybe not but it creates a link lets not be naïve getting a shirt from Stanley isn't going to turn the vast majority into Stanley fans. Again its nott something the club are actively doing so its hard to criticize
  14. To be fair Mick rovers aren't actually doing this yet, so its hard to be critical something they aren't doing they might roll it out to under 5s?
  15. It was one thing they were looking at to try and get an identity to the club, I don't see whats wrong with it, its cheaper than sending shirts out!. Tbh I think its like many things lots of idea's then nothing actually happens
  16. I intend to and when my sons old enough he'll be coming to, with regards to shirt give aways. When I spoke to Steve Waggott in May he was saying he was looking into giving rovers scarfs away for babies but again nothings actually happened
  17. its not the best but with a three year old you don't really get to watch the match anyway ( in terms of unbroken viewing ) certainly that's my experience with my daughter who is 3 1/2
  18. Strikers lounge is good for the kids if you get tickets in the family stand there is free face painting
