  1. Spot on BB. Took me 20 mins from Finnington Lane to getting through mini roundabout at Feildens.
  2. Think capacity at Blackpool is 19k and their home fans up to 10k so on paper loads of room. But it depends on how they've separated away and if there's space in that area. Fortunately got mind last night after seeing chaddys post.
  3. Without a doubt Only Fools and Horses the best in TV comedy. Only last night I enjoyed a laugh, even though I'd seen it over and over again. RIP John.
  4. Clarkson may have been played out of position but of the 3 shots we had, his was the third and on target.
  5. 3 shots with only 1 on target. But at least we get a point with another clean sheet. Back to 6th?? Bristol beating QPR.
  6. He was returning applause to Leeds fans as he was carried off. Fingers crossed he's ok.
  7. You're right SG. Reminds me of decades ago. We played Exeter City at home with a gate of around 3,000. Much later, at the time when we were top of the premiership with over 30,000 at Ewood, Man City fans taunted us with the "where were you when you were .......". Completely different circumstances but we remain BRFC.
  8. Mowbray's using this "togetherness" as a way forward. Instead of blasting individuals for mistakes and lack of abilities he puts his arm around individuals with the "you did your best" attitude , expecting next time out he'll get better performances. Compare this approach with what I just seen from Chelsea's Thomas Tuchel. Different league yes but Mowbray's closeness to players wont mean he'll gain respect on the pitch.
  9. Even if he walked - no chance - or he was sacked I'd question why so much time, so many games, so much money has been wasted. Another miserable day but there will be more to follow as long as TM pulls the strings.
  10. Looked it from my view. Early sub for Luton. Plenty of the ball but no end product.
  11. As mentioned Butterworth looks like he may start with TM saying in training he shoots with either foot and can smell opportunities. We need these new strengths on the pitch not just in training.
  12. Love the bit when Jack starts to show interest with people around country not knowing where Blackburn is. Brings it back to know how good it felt to be Champions of England!
  13. How on earth is the Gov going to police the 10k vaccine passport?
  14. !00% agree but the truth will never come out as to what went wrong.
  15. It's obvious imo & probably among most that Obafemi doesn't want to come. He's had a sniff at premier football and doesn't want to let go hoping there's still a chance he can make it. Quality footballer he may be but no point us having an unhappy player who can't make a decision on his future.
  16. WBA were allowed three times yesterday to dry the ball for long throws using clothing thrown from their fans. Yet the ref prevented our kit man, also against WBA (but irrelevant), to pass a towel our keeper. Think the EFL should look into this. It they are to dry the ball use a towel provided by the club. Nothing should be thrown in from the crowd.
  17. Didn't mention ambitions! Don't misunderstand me up Mercer, I've been there home and away for decades and can see the bigger picture. The season has started so I'm right behind the team regardless of who the manager is. Like I said Mowbray should have been potted a long time ago and with a new manager in post we could have been looking towards the top end of the division. But lets see it as it is, Mowbray's been given the green light to stay and have another go this season having failed in previous seasons - understatement. We've lost a top goal scorer along with other senior players to start a season with 20 players, plus two long-term injuries, who aren't all Championship ready and will add a further 6 untested players. I'm being realistic when I say we can avoid relegation this season.
  18. Cracking response Gav. Apart from another West Brom error we were never going to score. I'd have got rid of Mowbray ages ago but too late now, we go with what we have and get behind the team. Thought we did that today even though behind for over 89 minutes of normal time. Clarkson looks good, Carter is learning, Kaminski is outstanding and kept us in the game. Both Lenihan & Ayala do gel and the longer they play together the better they'll be. Fact everyone knows is squad is too small but get the right additions and we can stay in this division.
