  1. Thankfully I was negative as was Mrs CB so was able to witness an excellent display with a fifth clean sheet on the trot, Third in the table after 23 games .... its true we are. An exciting performance that deserved a full house but understandable many made the sensible decision not to go. It was a strange feeling arriving at Ewood about 130pm. Not many around on Nuttall Street as I caught backend of a conversation about comments on this board so I headed off down Bolton Road to kill time just as a sixth Birmingham coach was off loading. Big screen at the BBE fans zone was showing Brough v Bournemouth. What ever has happened to Bournemouth?? Long may it continue. The way Rovers team gel is outstanding and if we continue then playoffs at least will be the reward.
  2. Would prefer Kharda to start and use Dolan or Gallagher as sub depending on game management.
  3. Branthwaite starts for Everton who have two keepers on bench due to lack of numbers.
  4. According to LT there will be 10 checkpoints set up around Ewood. On average that's about 1,600 going through each in say 90 minutes (assuming fans arrive at 1230pm) which looks like (1,600 divided by 150) 10 people checked every minute.
  5. Makes you think QPR v Swansea game off on Saturday, this may not be only game ways things are going.
  6. Massive 3 points from rock solid Rovers !!!! Well done lads and the 800 who supported this fantastic away win.
  7. Only to be expected. What's the rule on masks? Think I've missed a bit on this.
  8. With winter approaching and an anticipated poor weather, I'd prefer a local away to protect the pitch. Would be good to beat Burnley over at their place.
  9. That stop by Pears in first half was nearest noblers got on a water pitch that one more heavy down pour would have ended the game. Surface water partly drained away in second half. We played solid at the back thanks to good understanding and team spirit. Great atmosphere in the ground & even coming away after the game with fans singing heading off over to Mill Hill. We could be on to something this season.
  10. Could be a factor second half. Better refs down Pleasington this weekend.
  11. be a good atmosphere today lets get behind the lads.
  12. We need this one to stabilise our top six. 17,000 will be good but 3 points is the number we want to hear.
  13. The team played really well and dealt with conditions better than a weak Stoke. Buckley was outstanding, Rothwell a master and his ball collection with short threating runs worried their players. Diaz is growing - no hang on - has grown in confidence and was unlucky not to score in first half. He also calmed congested play a couple of times with long cross field balls, the type of passes that if the team player isn't there then it goes horribly wrong but he knew exactly what he was doing. Got to mention Van Hecke too, played like he's never been away.
  14. We've sold 1,500 with about 400 left. No tickets sold on the day.
