Just heard TMs comment about ref made decision with "a lot of thought" and he gave it "an hours time to see" what it looked like. Has there been a lack of communication? "Game on" to me means game will be played as schedule but TM implies the ref was still thinking between 1230pm and 215pm. One to look out for in future pitch inspections, we'll have to wait for official one 45 minutes before KO. An example of EFL having no respect for fans imo.

If he'd called it off at 1230 not many would have argued but the 215pm decision is not fair on supporters. It's a referee decision to do this but with the issues raised now its time the football authorities apply a bit of common sense like bringing in ex players to at least advise, delaying kickoff or even a 3 hour deadline before the game starts.

When the game is played I hope it isn't the same ref.

In fairness to Waggott he gave a good interview minutes after game called off. Club has lost out financially but more import is a game was called off with thousands at the ground.

The game could have started with a "see how we go" or delayed for half hour. Instead it would appear that one man makes a decision that no one else agrees with. I'll sit in the sunshine and wait to see what this CHAMPIONSHIP ref has to say.

Samba, who got sent off today, has played 119 games for NF in Championship since Aug 2019. Their second keeper Horvath only has 1 Championship game since signing from Club Brugge in July 2021 and although he has played a few Champions League games in his career, he was second choice with Brugge.

Current top two Fulham & Bournemouth will go up, no doubt about it. Agree with Butty some good results today. Our aim is the top six so a win against WBA will be a massive step.
