  1. When I renewed in the shop he told me I was entitled to a £15 voucher. That's ok and I might use it but its just a pull by the club to get pepole to spend. Cash paid out by ST holders should be the same depending on the area therefore if they do decide to reduce the cost a cash refund is the correct way to do it IMO. But lets be honest, this is a cockup. Would have made sense for SW to ask Joe Public for a pricing opinion instead of going off his own head. How much is he on??
  2. Bairstow was outstanding. Probably felt hurt after early first innings exit but after a few seduka games and right conditions proved he is up there with the best. One-day mode into test match entertainment.
  3. Either way arbitro it wont make any difference. Club's at a crossroad and needs a boost from something. Whether that's a new manager we don't yet know but it's certainly not going to happen overnight. My feeling is we've just got to get behind the club.
  4. Very open and honest. Doesn't answer every question I'm sure but it's a start that their fans can take onboard.
  5. The problem from the start of this is ownership of the club. No matter who is interviewed, probably too many, they will look back to see how the owners treat/communicate with Rovers Management Team - and that covers a wide range of issues - and see a massive problem. Both Farke & Carvalhal have been interviewed but it would appear they are no longer in the picture. Did both come up with the same thinking as Warnock when he was interviewed?? Venkys ways haven't changed. If as Andy Bayes says no more talks until after bank holidays, then adding weekend that's next Monday 6th June. Could 6th June as suggested by glen be correct?? It's a wait & see game but June could be a very long month.
  6. Yeah great reading. This threads about 51 days old, almost on page 212 so average is about 4 pages per day. But in last 24 hours we've covered 17 pages! Fingers crossed there's plenty to look forward too.
  7. Still doesn't draw a line under it "....discussed in England by Blackburn Rovers, but ....for now ....have not progressed." Frustrating when we want the best now but the wait continues.
  8. When he was first mentioned I wasn't that impressed due to time he spent as manager of numerous club. I'm thinking differently now. He knows his stuff, has his own team and talks with humor but with authority, the type players would want to impress.
  9. Don't think police would allow night match.
  10. Having Burnley back in same division is best news we've had for years. Chance to get back as top club in this area. Can't wait to get back to The Turf as part of the blue & white (coach 😒) army.
  11. Exactly. So I'm thinking why didn't they act sooner, they've had time. After all this is the number one priority. Oh yeah, owners & current structure are unable to make decisions.
  12. Was a foul throw and a yellow not a red but that miss by your centre forward could cost you.
  13. Villa have been whimps throughout this game. Barnes should have been sent off for his elbowing in first half but I think Burnley have enough in them to stay up after a point tonight.
  14. Sounds perfectly reasonable what's been posted by @Mercer & backed by others in part. You'd expect interviews and interest for a Championship Management Team to be high profile, wrapped in secrecy. With Dingles being so close behind us they are probably going through the same process.
  15. What a shambles. Truely "premiership you're having a laugh "
  16. I stopped dreaming a long time ago. Already said I don't want Dyche. Just joining the dots and passing on my thoughts.
  17. Read somewhere that Dyche wants to be in football management but says its difficult finding a job. Thinking back to his telephone conservation with TM, he's probably been warned about the way Venkys operate so wont want to come anywhere near Ewood.
  18. Think Carvalhal's managed too many clubs and probably wouldn't give us stability needed. Not keen on John Hardman either as he's experience is mainly women's football. Different game for me and hope I'm not offending anyone.
  19. The same three I was going for earlier but I'm having doubts about Dyche. Would it work with his Burnley club & town connections. Great if he fires us to the top but too close to home if we tread water. Probably wont happen anyway and Nixon will prove a point when one of "his" unknown surprise managers is appointed.
  20. Passionate behind Wycombe good to hear. Dedicated to his football team. Blackburn accent!
