Yeah, he's a bit of an egg/character. But with that being said I would say he dresses quite normal compared to the French National team:

The most logical thing would be that Dønnum, Jørgensen and Cleary were all targets with Cleary main target as the cheaper and youngest option, until Barnsley negotiated their way out of the dealings. Then Rovers focused on Jørgensen and landed him. The white smoke tweet from Nixon possibly alluded to there being some different opionions on who we should sign, maybe it was Ismael who got his way this time?

He can play as an inverted winger on the right and would work well with Alebiosu, helping him defend as well, but reportedly we chased Morishita in the summer for a good while and he plays on the right, so not sure where we would fit Dønnum into our team at this moment. And the argument that his wife plays for Manchester United so he would want to move closer, doesn't make all that much sense either. I'm sure while pregnant that she'll spend more than enough time in France, even though she will probably still show up at United and do some work/training there to keep herself fit. We'll see...

Dønnum or Cleary + Hardie on loan would be pretty good business.

Baradji isn't about his quality, it's all about proving his fitness. Don't see the rush in that one myself, the deal is in place so no worries. TGH I hope we find better. Decent squad player on a free, but shouldn't be a starter. I hope we can offer Tronstad a new deal, he's vital to this team and should be for another two or three seasons.

Perhaps AaB were due some instalments when Glimt face City in the CL, who knows. Could be a total package of €3.5m, but I can't see us pay too much at first. Everyone's waiting for Elliott to wake up and follow up on the Dønnum news. That transfer doesn't make too much sense at the moment, considering there's a world cup coming up and he's playing regularly (and well) for Toulouse.

Different Jørgensen?

Yeah, I meant in terms of pedigree. Jørgensen was a big signing that ‘failed’ at Bodø/Glimt but he hasn’t been there long and usually it takes time for new signings to get going there. I’m a bit surprised they’re letting him leave so soon tbh, but guessing he’s let them know he wants to go when he heard of Rovers’ interest in him.

These two are same category as Andri imo. Most of the others we signed in the summer are a level to two below.
