  1. Terzic about as realistic as Ronaldinho
  2. We'll see what happens. Hopefully DCFC are relegated and we're promoted 😉
  3. Can't blame them if they go when we can't even offer most of our players new contracts.
  4. I'm glad there's a committee regarding transfers, but we lost a lot of ground in January because Waggott is penny pinching. No contract renewals and just shocking day to day operations.
  5. Definitely, but can't see us getting him.
  6. Didn't you post this once already earlier in the thread? Yes: Steve Cooper Big Sam Sean Dyche Valerien Ismael No: Steven Gerrard Wayne Rooney
  7. No chance we'll want to sign Rooney.
  8. Wouldn't mind Steve Cooper but would mind Rob Edwards.
  9. 4 hours ago, MB Rover said: 'Apparently' Travis in particular is absolutely fuming at both the club and Eustace, refused a meeting with him this morning before training supposedly.
  10. Allegedly didn't want to meet with Eustace.
  11. It’s a recurring theme here so he should be.
  12. I think the next man in has a good foundation to build on. Eustace has his limitations and hopefully Gestede has done his homework and we’re prepared for this scenario. Disappointing outcome but managers come and go. Travis rightfully fuming, I hope him and the group can turn this into a positive and absolutely smash WBA come Wednesday.
  13. Gestede will protect himself.
  14. No one will buy this club once the fanbase is gone. Damned if you do, damned if you don't.
  15. That will be one of the conditions; that he doesn't mention the club or staff in a negative way. At the end of the day, Eustace has added positively to his CV after what he's done here, so he will be better for it and look forward. Wonder how man of our players he'll try and sign though... I hope he stays, but whether he stays or goes the underlying problems are still here and until we see a massive change behind the scenes, everything else only matters in the short term because everything is... short term.
  16. He took over a club with a lot of positive momentum from Graham Jones' excellent job. Then hasn't been able to turn things around at all after their relegation. Looked totally deflated and not up for a fight, so not a good match for us I believe.
  17. Certainly not. The point I was making is that Nicko reported we had a name in place and then it's been silent, so I don't trust we have much of a plan if/when Eustace leaves. We've gone from player trading model to manager trading model...nice.
  18. Rob Edwards!? Big no thank you. I'd rather take Dyche.
  19. I think some of the some accounts are set up to auto like posts including certain key words, so might be that...
  20. Where's that new chief football scout gone?
  21. I agree. But when you have a non-scoring striker in a non-scoring team, it becomes a little bit of an issue. If he had more goals in him, he wouldn't be here but hopefully he can hit a green patch of goal-scoring form soon. I went from 'loving' him to mehhhhh back to loving him again. Great character and works his socks off for the team, just lacks dicipline too but a really funny character 😄
  22. Cantwell has been ill and then struggled with a calf strain. Not sure he's at 100% so maybe that's why they've left it so late to put him on. Certain starter otherwise, but I think a lot here can agree that he could contribute a lot more. He gives the ball away needlessly and often chooses a difficult technique when passing, and because of that stops the progression in many attacks imo. Would hope more of that was coached out of him by now. Easy to make videos of him 'pur' and a lot of material for the highlight reels, but there are a lot more material for the lowlights. I'm highly critical about Dolan too, but someone here pointet out that we fell back as soon as he went off. Have to remind myself that he has a lot of intensity in his game and decision-making will naturally be harder. Till try and give him a new crack in my mind. Hedges I have given up, he's a 6 out of 10 when he's at his max.
  23. You’re right. I’m still reserving judgement on how effective he’ll be
  24. And Weimann? Wouldn’t have spotted him if it wasn’t for his bleached hair. Hardly got a touch, did he? And the. Cantrell comes on and is even worse 😂
