  1. It's more about fitness than about who warrants a place. We can't afford any more injuries in this one so I would rest a few if I was JDT.
  2. Chrisene was definetely just meant for backup on the left but surprisingly was thrown to the wolves to get his fitness levels up. Fortunately for him, Pickering went off injured so it's looking like he'll get some more gametime. Not too dissimilar to A. Bell from what I've seen so far, a bit more physical and aggressive defensively perhaps - which is good. Ayari will be cheap, no doubt, but think he'll play more here than he did for Coventry, so maybe they're looking at another season long loan for next season if he does well. Think we can benefit from maintaining a good relationshipship with them as they bring in a lot of really good prospects.
  3. Chrisene, JRC, Dolan and Gallagher should all start on Monday, and possibly Sigurdsson and Ayari too. O'Riordan is probably cup tied though.
  4. They don't really play in the same position. Gilsenan likely to go out on loan, but he's good player.
  5. Is the Ennis to Bolton loan deal on hold until Gallagher's situation is sorted?
  6. How much extra would that be in wages?
  7. £15m and then what? Window shuts in a week and there will be negotiations going on until then. It's the same old shite, just different people.
  8. We’ll hardly spend any of it. We never do. Please don’t sell.
  9. By the looks of things it's Dolan rejecting our offers, so that tells you something. He'll be playing in the League One in a season or two if he doesn't stay here.
  10. Only reason to give him a new contract is in order to sell him and spend the money more wisely on a better player. Has hardly developed in those 130 games imho. Blows hot then cold x 5.
  11. Hope you're right. Maybe we're grasping at straws though...
  12. I reckon she automaticall reposts anything to do with Scott or Adam. Apologies if my previous post took up a lot of space on here.
  13. Apps - goals (last four seasons) 37 - 3 35 - 4 40 - 4 16 - 2 He's not the answer.
  14. £20m and they can have Garrett. Double it and they can have Adam with a loan-back for the season.
  15. He's been terrible. But I believe he was brought in as second choice before being thrown to the wolves. If Pears had stayed fit, he would have had to prove himself in training and probably would have failed to do so - or he would have gotten a few games and then been replaced again if his confidence had gone. He's highly regarded in Norway and although he was probably better in the 2022 season than in 2023.
  16. Don't forget about Raúl.
  17. Can't see him joining without Gallagher leaving. Probably makes business sense but I'm currently feeling a bit nervous for the rest of the season nonetheless.
  18. Because of ash clouds the airspace over Europe will unfortunately be closed at that time so he will have to row his boat over after passing his facetime medical just in time.
  19. Not good if we wait until deadline day before making more moves. New players will need some time to gel in, and we're trying to turn the ship here. Also slightly concerning that we played a behind the doors friendly and conceded another three goals versus Bahia.
  20. Nicko saying young Arsenal striker to Sheff W. so that makes more sense.
  21. No one has been playing well.
  22. Sell Jan 31 and fail to replace him. Would be trademark Rovers. Do you think any or some of that money would be reinvested this window? Wharton's one of our own. Hate to see people trying to flog him like he's a commodity. If he develops further and has greater ambitions than Rovers, then fine, but we shouldn't be trying to push him out the door.
  23. We don't need another unproven loan signing right now. Biereth has a one in three ratio in the Eredivisie and Scottish Prem so it's a pass for me.
