  1. Well he is tall so can play out wide and with his chef's hat on may even head a ball. Sign him up and for False 9 and backup go for
  2. They missed their BKK gig a few years back. Cancelled on the morning of the event and they never came back, at least as far as I know. Reasons for the cancellation were cloudy. I heard their main roadie had taken ill in India, another one was that one of the group feared for his freedom.... I know for sure that Jagger visits here himself but not to perform, at least on stage. I saw่ live very early in their career so was pissed off to not get to see them again. *Just checked Google and that BKK cancellation was in 2003, so quite a while ago but seems like yesterday.
  3. I seriously doubt that the BBD situation is sorted even now. Has he signed a new contract? I think the answer is no. If a decent offer for BBD came in it would be accepted or lose him for nowt in the future. Surely Waggott and the idiots above him are not that stupid. Not that any fee received would go on new players. GB said that the budget was not dependant on a sale. Cash received would go into the ether or Blings trouser pocket. We are going to make do with what we have, the academy and frees/loans. We have lost the Pep and Klopp lover so not too much chance there. Brighton too. Apparently we don't yet have a Park replacement. Actually we just need someone that can do Google and read ... the loans and frees list. I envy others with optimism, sadly not one of my strong points where Rovers Circus is concerned. I mean how can anyone take it seriously when Ewood is run by a failed football agent. Surely one of the most difficult to fail out callings on the planet.
  4. Heartbreaking, my thoughts are with his partner, family and friends. God bless, RIP.
  5. When you have a twat in Commercial who wants to charge kids the same as adults on the basis of a seat is a seat I tend to agree. Waggott must just love the pleb. If BBD goes late in the window look no further that Waggott and his bosses not at Broughton. JDT and GB are on a hiding to nothing.
  6. Great test cricket and pleased that Lees and Crawley got runs. The first hour tomorrow will dictate the outcome. To save my typing let me just say that I agree with everything that KP said on Sky post match.
  7. The ECB has become a corrupt grift operation also fond of holding kangaroo courts. They are not fit for purpose and yet another example of the inherent problem of self regulation beholden to no one.
  8. As Stan Ogden's ghost, just a bit more bone idle.
  9. Lancs QF game is on Friday, no England game. #FreeTheLankys
  10. Hartley put in a decent all round performance. David saving it for the QF and later. I just knew Lamb would dolly that one ... Or hit it for a 6. Odd about Livingstone, hope he's ok.
  11. Derbyshire play away in their QF whatever the result at OT. A right old Bublé. Meanwhile Leics fight to gift Yorks, which is a great pity.
  12. Thanks. I had looked there, I had subscribed to that channel for a while, just couldn't locate the game. Probably me needing Specsavers. Got it now on Sky cricket.
  13. Sky also said it was on their YouTube too, and the main Sky channels will go there once the test ends. I can't find it anywhere on YT!
  14. With all the IT available these days why can't they do a restart, the second one, with everyone keeping their times and positions from when the incident first affected the race. I'm not a fan of the race to the flag approach, basically a new short race with previous credit binned. And no nipping into the pits for a crafty one. Great TV though.
  15. Tim David is actually about due one of his big scores. Busy day this, lying back watching test cricket, F1 and soon Vitality. Tough life ....
  16. Being rash is not 'take the game .....', he was an accident waiting to happen and should have gone before he did. Yes Bairstow is and thank goodness for that.
  17. Stokes needs to stop believing all the hype and just play a test match type innings. He looks like an amateurish Sunday village basher.
  18. It is expected that 3,000 will attend, hopefully with pitch friendly footwear, matting etc. Hopefully the weather is kind to the attendees and pitch. Maybe this is what the cost of the expensive new stitch areas and the added durability is for. How does Ewood cope from a logistical point with the ablutions.
  19. The game at Charlton was live on TV out here, I saw it in a bar in Pattaya with a bunch of mates all down from BKK for a few days. Although I admit to being a bit 3 sheets I recall that penalty appeal and the prior GBH vividly. It is one of those moments of stunning disbelief that I still quite often think about to this day. Ward was joint top scorer that season ....... On 5 goals. Our home attendance in that season of relegation, Woy and Kidd was oner 25k.
  20. Crawley, convicted once more driving without due care and attention. That Guardian article was spot on.
  21. Seems like, looks like, smells like ..... you know how this goes. The shambles shambles on and on and on. Vision, project, journey, new start .... All cobblers, lies, deceit and deflection. I amuse myself by wondering who will jack it in first .. GB or JDT ..... I suppose the first to wake up gets the key.
  22. Chris Brown was a false player with, allegedly, a big knob that even dwarfed his nose. Statistically he was half the striker that Grabbi was, that shows how pants Brown the clown was.
  23. The game in Paradise is most definitely still on.
  24. I had to use Google, once, so not a total time and mind altering experience of a read. For a thrilling minute or two I thought Eristical Disputant was a new striker signing. Ooops wrong thread, but no one can tell.
