The CBs caused the problem by failure to deal with a routine high ball, Nyambe got pulled across to cover a free PNE player and Cunningham had not been tracked by anyone. A lot of our players at fault, Nyambe possibly the least at fault unless he should have noted earlier that Gallagher was being lazy.

As the PNE keeper hoofed an up and under Gallagher was stranded upfield but not that far away from Cunningham. Cunningham immediately set of on his run upfield but Gallagher did not until too late and then just a fast jog with no real intent to make up the ground lost by being asleep.

The Cunningham goal is worth full analysis. Having been exposed by the incompetence of our 2 CBs in dealing with a straight forward up and under Nyambe did his job in coming inside to cover. Meanwhile up field Gallagher was asleep but did wake up to slowly amble back whilst Cunningham was leaving him in the dust. Very poor by our CBs but pathetically awful by Gallagher. Branthwaite is riding his luck. Twice he has got away with conceding a penalty and being sent off. His style is an accident in waiting. He will develop well after making his mistakes with us and assisting in the feck up of our season.

Mowbary is on record in saying that you cannot build a team with loans and/or 'kids' We finished yesterday with 4 loans onfield including 3 'kids' and a past it LB stuck, as alleged, in Leeds B&W Meanwhile Mowbray says we are on a Journey. I'm not drunk and it's 5 am here and that truly was as bad as I've seen us ..... ever and I mean since 1963. So many of our players look disconnected, not knowing who should be making a run, not passing or passing to no one. The list of faults is endless. I find it amazing that one manager can feck up so many players to the extent he has. But at least he was, for once, honest today and admitted he's not into tactics or formations. Makes me wonder though why he claims to watch countless vids of other teams to spot their strengths so he can set up to counter some obscure full back who may or may not hit a meaningful forward pass.
