Works fine in Google Chrome Go to todays Match Centre where I had to press the icon ''Watch live now'' to be taken to the Match Pass purchase page -
I'd be happier if shooting wildfowl or indeed any animal for fun in the name of sport was banned.

I found myself liking both your and Gumboots posts so I suppose whilst I would never interfere with natures creation myself I don't care is someone else does. Also my Grandad had one, he had been a deep sea sailor though.

Rovers v Barnsley. Sat 28 Nov 3pm

No doubt in my mind that SG will start tomorrow, he had a good game against PNE and a goal so deserves to and Elliott picked up a knock. I hope that Elliott is fit enough to feature off the bench. As others are saying Elliott cannot be expected to start all games. -

I never had a bone break when playing football but saw plenty. I never was involved in one either, Most caused by poor weight distribution when making or being tackled or trying to pull out of a tackle. A couple of really horrible leg breakers by deliberate over the top and a few more simply by the foot being stuck in mud and body weight doing the rest, I recall one of the latter sounding like a rifle had been fired. -

Well if you can knock a 50+ yard PASS across the pitch or down the wing to a team mate you often, strangely enough, find your team in an advanced attacking position. Even in the Guardiola tippy tappy era players like De Bruyne and our own Holtby stand put because they can do that, as can all the good players IF allowed to. -

As a youngster I had a football coaching book which I think was by Charles Hughes. How to do the basics properly when trapping, tackling, shooting, heading etc. The fundamental was how to get your body correctly positioned so your body weight (or foot or head etc) was to your benefit. It stood me in good stead although the bit on sliding tackles from behind is perhaps no longer PC. LoL. He was in his FA coaching position an early developer of 'long ball' but I cant recall that being a major feature in the book but I was learning the game in 2-3-5 times so it most probably was there and I could hit a long PASS to a player in my team. The advice that stands out was to get the head over the ball when shooting from distance and correct foot contact. I scored loads from distance* and majority on target, our strikers should read that chapter. * TBF I played at a level where if on target you really were in with a chance. -

What did you think of the Ref? I think he was conned by Gallagher for our penalty and the sending off. SG had a grip of Rafferty's shirt from well outside the area, then simply stepped across and fell over. With that error maybe on his mind he let Browne get away with a bad foul on Douglas. That should have been a 2nd yellow and off, This let PNE know they would get away with their shithousery. He then let Potts get away with a deliberate and nasty kick on Elliott and in the same passage of play failed to punish Ledson;s aggression toward Elliott who was on the floor injured. Brereton's protective action towards the welfare of the named PNE players in the above incident I found odd. No thats not true, it pissed me off. We comfortably beat 10 men, big deal. PNE were a very poor team with 11. -

Tony will be creaming himself to get BB and SG in the starting 11. No helping hand from Fisher needed. Very happy that Pearson is not playing. -

''there’s always two teams playing and you’re not sure what the opposition are going to do until the game starts" So why spend all those hours watch oppo videos and making team selection and tactical changes for perceived threats. Why not just pick best 11 and get on with the job in hand. In fact why have a shit manager in the first place. The 2 teams playing ....... well got to be honest that one has me stumped. -

Yes, Oct last year away we were 2 up at half time, actually within 12 minutes, Neil made an early tactical change (Stockley on) which helped them to a 3-2 win. Mowbray did nothing and I mean absolutely nothing to counteract PNEs tactical change. Plus our lot went to pieces. Gally created the goal helped by our Gallagher -

That could lead to all sorts of on-field issues with certain Preston tossers and be considered incitement by the Feck All Association -

Since Preston resurfaced in the Championship in 2015 after years as bottom feeders our record is:Played - 8, Won - 1, Drawn - 2, Lost - 5The win came at Deepdale back in 2015. They are more than just a bogey team, they always seem to be more up for it when against us. -
Luton Town v Rovers Sat 21st Nov. 3pm
AllRoverAsia replied to darrenrover's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
The Luton goal came just after Trybull was subbed off. After Brereton lost the ball in their half Luton broke and Rothwell opted out of any defensive duties to fill in for the absent Trybull. He simply trotted back in a straight line. A bit of effort would have been nice. Otherwise he had a decent game. -
Championship Season 2020 - 2021

One year PL, one year top in the Championship. rinse and repeat. I could take that as a Slow Build as I am sure that Norwich after paying off debts accrued will reinvest properly when timing is right. They have reasonably rich owners but nowhere near the wealth of our Billionaires so chose caution and not a PL investment gamble to stay up. It working out fine ... so far, and a damn sight better than our feck up. The Jam Today approach when there is actually jam on the table is ok. -

Not even close. It is exactly what Mowbray said after we lost at home to Luton last season. We are simply not as good as even I sometimes think. Douglas and Trybull added to Johnson have taken yards off our pace in defensive and midfield play. Are their any slower players out there we might yet get? -

3 of our yellows were fully deserved and whilst the booking of BB for diving was a nonsense, he could easily have mouthed his way to a second. -

I and a few others got a panning for endorsing the Norwich approach in the PL last season. Guess who is top of the Championship. Playing Yoyo pays well. Bournemouth have a very strong squad for the Championship and possibly the best set of attacking forwards. -

Strange how it goes. BB was actually fouled quite a bit today and did less of his poorly executed diving. I think the Ref had formed his views prior to the match. He was atrocious. What enjoyment can there be in being so fecking awful.
