Lets start by giving my age as its so important in this topic, Im 24 and Ive been following Rovers since I was 9 years old, only twice I have felt threatened attending a football match one that didn't involve Rovers and the Celtic Home Game. I love a pint or 10 as Paul put it and I absoloutly love going to the Rovers and watching a football match to sing and shout so do many other football fans up and down the countr, its called enjoying ourselves but like many other football fans up and down this country I also realise there is a line between good fun Banter and Yobbish behaviour which in my eyes involves throwing things, inciting any sort of trouble, fighting etc. That surey makes me less of a man doesn't it. I go out in Blackburn town centre I bet its the same people who think causing trouble at a Football match causing the trouble down their with fantastic catchphrases such as 'Are You lookin at my Bird?' and proceding to hit anything that moves. I don't go out and do that does that make me a fuddy duddy for not wanting any trouble. Violence is never acceptable in any form of sociaty any right thinking person knows that and its not acceptable in football either, I don't want to have my football team tarnished with Fans are hooligans etc, I don't mind Hard men on the pitch but I we can't afford hooliganisam in and around our ground ever not with falling attendances. You know I think he is Shearer was at the negotiations today with Owen, and its been widely publicised that Shearer has play a massive role in getting Owen to this stage of negotiations. I think Owen is Shearers ideal striker not Souys. The only question remains How long is he from getting that coaching badge?

I think this is a tricky one, they have had a poor start whilst we have had a decent start, the problem with all Rovers fans is that we build ourselves up and we absoloutly love it when we are knocke back down again. We did it with West Ham (oooooooooo we had a fantastic preseason,top 6 finish , we lose omg we are going down this year) and I can see that again. Villa are a poor team who have signed a overrated player in Baros who had one excellent tournement truth is he can't hack it in the Premiership(I'll regret that). They have no stand out players anymore yet they think they are supposedly top 6 so we must beat them. Problem is will the mediocraty factor crawl out and grab us by the balls again, I think so , I think Villa will beat us after we put in a decent display and then doom and gloom will decend on Ewood Park once again so we as Rovers fans can do what we do best wallow in self pity.

Rovers 2-1 Simply because Spurs are one of my teams I really dislike(maybe cos Ive seen Rovers be so poor against them in the past). I think putting Mokoena if fit into battle with Davids to rough him up a bit along with Savage will be the plan. Don't expect the classy stuff we saw on Saturday expect Bully Boy tactics and expect them to wind Spurs and Davids up. Also people should not get so hung up on Davids although he WAS one of the best midfielders in the world, now hes just a name of a past it Individual who serves to feed on Spurs fans beliefs that they really are a big team

Who cares what happened today, we lost to a newly promoted team who had that little bit more extra about them because of the occaision. If we lose to Fulham and Spuds lets be worried but not after one game Dickovs probably done us a favour by getting that first Red card out the way so the press can have their 'dirty Blackburn day' and be done with it for a few weeks

I have said along with Thommo that this season is make or break with both players and to have them fboth firing on all cylinders is going to be like signing £15m worth of talent. To me Jansen is always going to be a favourite Rover no matter what he ends up like because he did the business for us before his accident. For Jansen to be sucessful this year he needs confidence and hes only going to get this if he gets on the scoresheet early on in the season or puts in a few Man of the Match performances which we and everybody at Rovers and perhaps most Premiership managers know he is capable of, but the big question is does Matty think hes capable of it?

Ive not felt this excited about a season starting since our 1st season back in the premiership where we were beaten by Derby on the opening day on my birthday but alas they went down we stayed up and won a trophy so I don't care. To the match I think Rovers will show their defensive class and in doing so will score a couple, maybe even one from a set piece. I dont think Bellamy will start due to a lack of action but I reckon we will see Kuqi and Dickov. Dickov and MGP to score.

I don't get the fuss with pro evo games the players move too square and the gameplay feels sluggish, I can't stand the non real team names (SI don't have a prem licence on FM). Ive been Playing PRO EVO 4 for about 2 hours now on XBOX my opinion has improved but Im still not convinced, can anyone tell me why its so special?
