Fifa I think yes Pro Evo definatly not As for which game I prefer I am in the same boat as cocker this year and made the change from Fifa to Pro Evo. This Years Fifa is perhaps the best theyve released however Pro Evo seems to have conquored the right angle movements of the players which annoyed me so much in past versions of the game. What I like about Pro Evo is the depth it provides the players, the varying difficulty of the games and the different styles a human player can choose to play to be sucessful on the game. If you try and defend on FIFA you get beat.

I spoke to someone at Tescos they seemed unsure that they were getting any and said Id have to wait till they ot their games delivery tommorow to find out. But they confirmed they were not doing preorders. Another major UK games retailer that I know of got a paltry amount of consoles. Microsoft ballsed this one up big time although its generating interest from people who would not normally buy a console at launch

Working for a games retailer, I must say that you will not have a chance in hell of getting one of these before Christmas. If you put a deposit down you will be looking at Jan/Feb. If you do want a tiny little chance of getting one before Christmas preorder the core system as thats the one the hardcore gamers who would sell their own mother to get one will not be getting and there is more chance that some people who ordered the Core system dropping out/forgetting about their order. All the major consoles(Except XBOX and Gamecube) are flying off the Shelves, PS2 is a little less popular this year but Sony never manufacture enough consoles so they will become impossible to get in the run upto Christmas. Whereas the Nintendo DS is becoming more and more difficult to get hold of. PSPs are like goldust however you have more chance of getting a gigapack than a value pack(You get a 1gig mem stick rather than a 32meg one).

Maybe Hughes could have a word with his old mate. He'd be the sort of player to give underperforming players a kick up the arse when need be.

Plying XBOX version How do you get a cross into the near post? How do you get an attacking player to make runs off the ball when you are in possesion? Also I read on here that you could get Keepers up for corners on Evo 4 how do you do that on 5? The game seems to always be that little bit too tight and defensive sometimes but thats probably because I havn't worked it out yet after being a Fifa Failure for so long

I think we are lucky to have a Keeper as good as Brad and as dedicated as him hes still world Class and is only 34 which is young for a Keeper VAn Der Sar is also 34 and Lehman is 35/36.

On a more important note that mega drive thing has Cannon Fodder the finest war game EVER!!! On Subject I always loved Sensi esp SWOS but that excuse of a game for the 98 version which was in 3D was awful. Id love it if they could recreate the simplicity like the interview leans towards you could play the original with ONE fire button and you could create some of the finest passing movements ever. I just hope they don't put commentry in cos I loved commentating along to SWOS when I was 12

Game in Bolton are selling them. I know cos Ive just bought one for the Hard Drive adapter.(The bigger one of the 2) Also Also a couple of months ago I came onto a Pro Evo thread on this board and basicly said it was a crap game and I don't like it. I was very very very wrong. Now admittedly the gameplay is very similar to Pro Evo 4, its just that I have had the opportunity to play Pro Evo 5 properly to appreciate it and it is 10 times bettr than 3 pass throughball Fifa. The game can be as pcretty or as ugly as you want, you can dictate the pace of the game against friends, if you tried slowing it down on Fifa they quite litrally scored. Ive even been able to ajust to the Club team names(Come on You Lancashire) All I'll say is I was very Very wrong on this one, I have finaly seen the light and perhaps will even trade my copy of Fifa in. Oh and Im playing the XBOX version as well is there a specific way of getting the team info off the Internet and on my XBOX without me having to edit each individual name and kit

I think rovers are capable of getting somthing out of each match. Someone has to beat Chelsea, why not us? Wishful thinking yes but if Hughes puts out a team to spoil their fun I don't see them reacting well and us having a chance of taking the points. Charlto are ready to fall from grace now and again I don't see why we shouldn't be the team to do it, we are capable of beating them as we have better players than them, I also think we can match them for fitness levels. Man City Pearce has them playing well, I think this will be an opportunity to show if we can take on teams like City when we normally fail misrably against teams we should be beating Arsenal, arrogent French plonkers will have their Highbury downfall when they persist in trying to score the perfect goal, hopefully our players will want retribution for the Semi Final last year as no way they deserved to lose 3-0, also maybe if we wound up their tempermental stars and made it into a battle I see us having a chance. I know its all a bit optimistic but Id expect 6 points out of those 4 games, logicly you'd say those points would come against City and Charlton but Football isn't like that.

Thats what I feel Kuqi is as well as he proved in previous games hes capable of being in the right place but his finishing let him down. I hope those 2 goals on Saturday will give him confidence, and lets face it once he outpaced Dickov to latch onto the awful passback he was never going to miss.(Well duh)

The one thing Ive noticed about Kuqi is his abillity to get into good goalscoring positions but before today hes missed quite a few chances. Lets hope that todays goals will give him confidence to take chances when he gets them because if he does he will be more important than Bellamy staying fit for our top half hopes.

Im enjoying fifa very much I found in the last ones it was very easy to score free kicks. Better than Pro Evo by a mile

Well yeah I just don't think he'd have done anything for us he'd have been another big wage which we would have offloaded at a 3rd of the price we paid for him Hindsight is a beautiful thing, trouble is we never got Dublin so We'll never know who is right.

Never been a fan of his, in fact we were interested the year we went down so Sutty wouldn't have been top scorer. Just to say he did well at Villa doesn't mean he would have been great at Rovers. Mind you Id have took him over Ward and Blake anyday becasue he was a proven premiership player. I just always got the feeling he would have been poor for us but given that season we could have had Shearer and still gone down. Dublin was also going through a phase were every game he played at Ewood he got sent off as well usually for Elbows

John Filan told us to 'Just Take the F'ing Photo' when we asked him to pose for one before the Promotion game at Deepdale although perhaps we were pushing it by asking him to do a Diving Pose!!
