My only problem with not taking Twellman is that, although short, he's great in the air and a good poacher at the end of matches. Either last season or the season before (I think the season before), NE scored in the last 10+ minutes a number of times and he was a big part of that.

At least they've proven they can perform at a level. I would agree it was a worthy pick if there were 2 circumstances: 1. He'd actually scored goals in the Championship, at least 2. He was the 5th striker, not the 4th with one half-crocked and one all-crocked. Rooney will not be dropped from the squad if he has any chance of playing in the later rounds.

I don't think Hargreaves is a terrible choice. He has some versatility. My guess is it was him over P. Neville.

I’m half expecting an old pro wrestling move whereby Eriksson rips off his suit at the England/Sweden match revealing a Sweden jersey underneath and then hits Gerrard with a folding chair before moving over to the Swedish sideline. Walcott? Would be nice to pick someone with international or at least top flight experience.

It's showing tickets available for a bunch of matches, but when I go to order it says sufficient quantities not available, even for 1. I go back and it still says those ticket sections are available!! Also, came SOOOO close to one re-sale for Iran/Angola, entered my info, went to verify and after I hit the button it timed out and errored out.

That just might be those are the matches they know they will have tickets for. I submitted the first few hours for a bunch of matches and haven't heard anything.

I had that happen before. The player wasn't injured, but when I said to show all players (I had injured hidden) they showed up again.

With all the tickets that keep coming available for that one, I bet it will become one of the most exciting group matches ever. I'm predicting 8-7 on a stoppage time 35 yard screamer. I'll at least do the first US one. Not sure my computer access for the other ones, though.

Starting at Poland/Ecuador in Gelsenkirchen, then a few days later back for US/Czech. Over to Tunisia/Saudia Arabia in Munich then over to to Nuremberg for England/T&T (no ticket, just soaking up the atmosphere) the 14th and 15th. Over to Kaiserslautern for US/Italy, back to Kaiserslautern a few days later for Paraguay/T&T (shall we meet up Modes?) then back to Nuremberg for US/Ghana (Waggy, if you get the ticket, let me know). Still looking to get other matches, we'll see what happens.
