  1. Southampton 3- 2 up... Mr Le Saux the scorer and surprisingly Fulham 2 -0 against Everton
  2. Humph ! Last year I brought dozens only to watch the majority get deflated and stuffed up peoples jumpers. Was a free chuppa-chups lollypop inflatable so valuable to you that people'd spoil everyone elses fun ? All I can remember is those inflatable balls, flying down from the upper tier and landing in or around the pitch advertising... I think it was Jordan with the inflatable sword....
  3. Well I hope so as well, I think Everton getting this years fourth CL spot, gives hope, to all small clubs striving for Europes top league.. regardless if Liverpool won the Cup.
  4. Thanks Philip The amounts will appear in in this years financial accounts? Yes?
  5. Truely, how can one person, use the same excuse year after year?!? I just have to laugh..
  6. Think this an important game for us, placing's-wise... and a win would make up for last years game.
  7. Agree with you there Hughesy, except I'd add Douglas, off on a small fee with a sell-on clause. Your forgetting Bothroyd going.. I have got a feeling Thompson will be going as well...
  8. Honestly, at the moment what harm can it do upfront.??.. I know Waggy likes to go on, it was the same last year but I think we could use someone besides Gallager, to partner Stead as the strikers for the rest of the season, as I dont believe Dickov should rush himself back in the next four games... I do agree with your sentiments on the £ value of the the final placing, but I dont see to much harm with 'tinkering' with some forward positions...
  9. If that is the case, what is the amount on the Peacock case?? Philipl? Does anyone know if there is any other case's at the moment with other clubs in similar situation's as us? there must be, as this case is years old. AndIf so I say we go in with a class action and scare the buggers!!
  10. A bit dissappointed about the result, am starting to agree with waggy's reminders of playing some of the starlets... Hughes made a post match comment about the players, are believing that they were safe already.. All I care about is being above both Newcastle and birmingham...
  11. I totally agree PhilipL, but I would be interesed in what Rovers were able to get out of the tight gits! but you never know we might be surprised and see our precedent in this! Can I ask a question, was the original verdict (in favour of rovers) of £4.5m including both cases of Peacock and Dahlin or just Dahlin?
  12. Great preview Sox, ...very nice. With regards to the game... wishing for a win, expecting something else. C'MON ROVERS
  13. Big well done to Rovers!! a bit disappointed with the Chelsea V Birmingham result....
  14. Then IMHO - Beckenbauer (sp?) is the man for the Job!!
  15. Is it Platini or Beckenbauer (sp?) that wants to introduce more technology in the game?
  16. and alot cheaper too I bet! Although ideally, I would like both Earnshaw and Bellamy at the club. My thoughts on "transfers out" are: Jansen Gray Matteo Douglas Bothroyd Amoruso Short Bring in Koumas for the midfield and maybe Wes Brown or Gabbidion (sp?) Leaving us with: Friedal/Enkleman Neill/Nelsen Mokoena/Todd Johansson/[Gabbidion/Brown]/Gresko/McEveley Reid/Emerton/Thompson/Savage/Koumas/Tugay/Pedersen/Flitcroft Gallagher/Stead/Dickov/Bellamy/Earnshaw Anyway thats what i would like to see for the next season
  17. Rather a draw on this tie and a win on the buggers at cardiff.. CMON ROVERS
  18. Keeping to my trend of not guessing the score and jinxing the boys, but a narrow win to rovers methinks.. C'mon Rovers
  19. There are many options open to him visa-wise, now that he is in the UK... he wont go...
  20. I don't know how you came about that answer! Try the BBC website ...
  21. Absoultely surprised by this result. By all reports - Reid, Todd and Nelsen performed well. BIG congrats to Steadinho for breaking his drought... finally BTW Who was captain today? Dickov? Roll on the big guns!!
  22. What about Russell Crowe? Anyway two thumbs up for Nelsen.. Really happy to see Rovers stronger at the back... now for a striker
