My fault for turning on the radio in minute 89! The players sounded knackered and were giving the ball away in the last few moments-tired minds and legs according to KG. Their equaliser sounded like a total fluke though. A sickener in the end, but I'd have settled for that result at 3.00. -

All we need now is Shearer and a kiss!

I stumbled on a pdf. It is a massive document/ list of every player plus "intermediary" involved in a deal last year..not a list of every player's agent. I will pm it later,.....( if I can. I had to get help to copy the last excerpt!)

Very measured imv

Definitely a Simon and a Peter. I guess they will be starting a church next!
-
Not forgetting Simon Conning Consulting , which I saw in relation to a transfer deal in a totally different club last year. Crown football has one consultant called Peter Conning. No relation, I suppose! My own personal favourite would have to be Julius Caesar Consulting with that marvellous strapline: "I came- I saw-I invoiced"

Careful, when you go over the bridge!

Me too...but that is because I want it to! As someone else said, that McAnthony bloke is an attention seeking ****
-
I guess there must be a doubt, given his lack of goals and experience in the Championship. We'll see soon enough anyway..
-
A pretty fair summation, in my view.
-
Conning's the name.. You know those TV programmes they do about "Rock families", and how members of one group morph into another? I would love to see a similar programme about agents' "families" and their links to other agents, including some apparently dissolved. As you say.. Shyte players and on very, very long contracts...

Nail...head...

I prefer Venky apologist!

Easy. Blame the doom mongers..
-
Agreed. What was worse under Bowyer is that we had Gestede and Rhodes, banging them in, yet we were only ever in the play off positions for an hour or something!
-
I get your point. On the other hand, we'd have gone down in that first season without him!
-
Got to feel for Shrews fans. Echoes of Furphy, returning for Field, Garbett and Bradford....
-
Doom mongers lol..What will they say indeed?!
-
Yep. That is the worry I hope not to have by the end of the window!
-
Yes, if it ends, as it is now, I will be very disappointed. Given Mowbray's integrity and the amount of planning time he has had -since Doncaster at least -I still have hopes. I do share your concern, however, as It is definitely leaving it late to bolster a league 1 team minus Armstrong, Antonsson and Payne....

The loans that year weren't that great. I thought Emnes was pretty poor with a few all too brief flashes. Joao-he didn't have enough time to really convince. Gallagher..hmmm..I just hope he has improved, if we are going to rely on him again. In my heart of hearts, I am not sure that loanees have the stomach for the fight, when the going gets tough. I think that was a contributory factor to the last relegation. However, as you say, the muppet on the sidelines was the main problem. (What a shame Warnock and Jepson got that Monday morning phone call and said muppet appeared like the ghost of Steve Kean...)
