No fluidity and confidence like we’ve played at our best. We seem disjointed. I’d hoped Hyams return would shore up the leak but no such luck. Need a stellar 2nd half, but feels like we’ve tried nothing and are all out of ideas.

Gave up watching. Awful, buffering stream. But alarmed at what I did see. Reminiscent of Coyle!

    Will the away fans turn?

You are right. There is a big problem, in fact there are two very big problems, the owners and the CEO are strangling the club and knocking the stuffing out of the fans.

Well, I'm still 100% Venky's (the fuck) out of our club.

The bright moments of "easy on the eye football" are a mere distraction from the fact that we continue to be reduced and dumbed down on a constant basis.

We all know that JDT will be gone sooner rather than later-utterly frustrated.

Spivs like Waggott will remain, however, with more perverse, supporter -alienating decisions.

Are we that hard to beat? But I agree that we are a "powder puff" team

The Tottenham striker Son apparently labelled Spurs "soft" after their home defeat by West Ham last week and Tottenham are known in the game as "Spurs-y" because of their fragile nature and tendency to cave in under pressure, often against lesser teams.

Should we be known as "Rovers-y" too?  We usually win when teams let us play our passing game but our nice, fragile lads often disappear in the face of many of the muck-and-nettles players and teams in the Championship - Leeds and Preston being recent examples.

Rovers-y Rovers. Sounds rather good, don't you think?

In our house we've been saying Rovers are Spursy for ages.

Soft..powder puff, but easy on the eye= Mid-table/going nowhere..until manager /players leave and we go down?

Funnily enough I never thought Kaminski was that great. Fantastic shot stopper but poor on corners and generally commanding the box.

Guess I am just judging by much higher standards from a bygone era.

I thought he was the best keeper in a good while. We have had so many second rate goalkeeper performances-since we sold Friedel imo...

Even Robinson went down like an old man getting into bed, as balls hit the net from outside the box.

The likes of Roger Jones, Jim Arnold, Terry Gennoe, Tim Flowers and Brad Friedel gave us the required confidence.

I think too many of our recent keepers are more the "Primark" Darren Collyer/Matt Dickens type!

There is definitely enough about Leo to assume he'll develop into a decent keeper and his reflex saves are better than Pears.  Other than that though there isn't much between them at this moment in time and both are open to 'could do better' debates.

However everyone has to accept this is what is going to happen with development signings. Days of getting an experienced top foreign league keeper for a fee and decent wage are long gone i'm afraid.

They don't seem to learn that that is the best way to actually make money to reinvest whilst also improving the team itself, as the TK signing showed.

I think also we have to accept the days of steady keepers who do all the basics well week in week out and command their area and defenders are long gone.  Look around the Championship there isn't much to desire in keeper terms.

    Leo "Waltonstedt" ?
