My view is based on 13 years of mismanagement and the current financial predicament but you are right it's essentially down to if you believe what you are being told.

The whole rotten Indian operation sickens me....If admin would have them gone,  I would just see it like a painful amputation to stop the gangrene...

You used the word suspicious and that's exactly what it is. Sylvester has done hundreds of deals administratively and the deal was messed up? Who knows the motives - perhaps an appeasement for the fans and Tomasson to say 'we did all we can'. Either way it's another in the catalogue of avoidable catastrophes like the Henning Berg contract.

Shaw/Berg..You took the words out of my mouth..

I know everyone likes to blame the owners for everything (and recently with good reason) but this is one conspiracy theory that doesn't make sense.

Why would Broughton take this deal right up to the dotting the i's and crossing the t's stage without seeking authorisation to go ahead in the first place?

"Recently"....and the last 13 years? lol

We have had worse than 'Big Jim'!  My God, he could head a ball - who can forget that header at the Blackburn End back in the late sixties against Man City in the FA Cup at Ewood to make it 1-1 in front of 40,000+.  I was at the back of the Blackburn End that night and it was a magnificent header and the noise almost blew the feckin roof off.

As for Frank Lord, add Alan Gilliver and Martin Britt to the list to name but two.

I was amazed to read that he only got 4 league goals for us...

Elliot Jackson commented on the HMRC story on Twitter as it broke, so he’s obviously well aware of it - but has Blackburn Rovers being threatened by a winding up order been worth a story in the LT? It seems not.

If you wonder why it’s so hard to wake the fans up, there’s another example.

    Venkygraph indeed!

With all these false dawns of Venkys finally fucking off it does feel different this time.

A 3rd party blocking them from operating the way they have for the last 12 years and making them apply for payments every quarter.. surely at some point they say "no"?

    Lord knows what happens then.

How did we get afflicted with these rats? Football is in the fucking gutter.

Also, it may seem like the most "respectable" way out for them..i.e. an externalised " it was the judge that blocked our intention to carry on, bringing up "our baby".

I think I fear a temporary stay of execution, meaning we will be back in the same shite in a few months time.

As for your last two statements, nail on head. It sickens me what they have been allowed to do to our club.

A Wrexham fan remarked that the F.A., Premier League and EFL all have blood on their hands.

I also resent that our own MP's have not got together to achieve more. It's been 13 years FFS...

I totally agree. It’s very wearing. As you say, with no light at the end of the tunnel and bring on a very slippery slope it is very depressing.
When one’s mood is governed by the ups and downs of Rovers fortunes it is very difficult. As I have been Rovers fan for 60 years now, I’m starting to feel that for my own well-being, I need to “let go”. But they’re in my blood, so it will be very difficult and may not be possible.
Rovers consume too large a part of my day for my own good. I feel like Venkies are literally slowly killing me with their actions and attitude, but I know i won’t be able to change and that in itself is even more depressing.
I think that now is the time for Venkies to sell up and go and we’ll just have to live with the consequences. We have to start moving forward again no matter where that starting point eventually is.

    Same here.

One of my Rovers supporting mates, a fan for nearly 50 years told me he had to stop going because it was making him too angry and depressed.

I guess we can all take the natural ebb and flow of football fortune, but this is an abuse.

Well, I f***** hate Venky's and all their works and pomps..

    (Once a Catholic lol)

Nixon is being very pro Venky on Twitter, I’ve noticed. Must have some good sources at the club again.

    Just ‘ergh’ all round.

I remember reading something several years ago that a certain journo had some kind of arrangement with SEM and/or Kentaro. Anyone else remember that?....not mentioning any names lol

Myth ? What myth ? The moment we went down and still had that lip biting RAT still incharge ...i gave up...but as a supporter against all logic we are believing ...Only ray of hope ...Supporters use the WREXHAM game as i presume its televised due to the netflix attachments and embarrass the hell out of them and their country ( i know how bad its to suggest this ) but in their political climate and upcoming elections , they will feel the pressure if it garners media attention ...will be good if local MP joins in blaming loss of revenues for local businesses due to our exodus and owners affliction . Maybe a "SAVE OUR CLUB" Movement or we just sit and be a championship club with our CEO collect his coins of silver.

Whats the matter with you lot..

The venkyscum have done a good job on you all. Fuck em , why are so many scared of a lower league team ffs. Only a few weeks ago everyone was talking playoffs,  now your all running scared of a reality TV team.

Could we lose ? Absolutely it's the cup things happen

    Should we lose absolutely not.

    GET A GRIP !!!!

But our shit goalkeeper(s) and brittle defence mean we probably have to score 3 or 4 to win...

So no transfers news then guys.

You withess Plan B against Watford 4-3-2-1 formation

Szmodics goals and form in the 10 role.

Let's not forget you want to move him also to play 4-3-3 formation

We bring through more academy players than most teams do? 6 academy players in the match day squad..any more do you want?

Every EFL Club signed young players from PL clubs. Just like when people want to keep loaning Garrett or Leonard this summer instead of using them here. We have young players out on loan like Gent at Motherwell for example.

It's great to get so many academy players in the first team, but can we only do this if we are content to remain in the lower reaches of the 2nd tier?

Can only be a good thing If it means  bar of soap hands is a bit nearer to being removed from the fray.

I note Ennis is starting , is there no upper age limit for plying for the "under " 21's?

Hmmm..bar of soap hands could easily apply to Pears.

Hell, he has even got a soap related name to go with his...well..er..challenges...

Braintwaite actually started ok for us but then that incident happened v Boro with his high boot when he nearly took Dael Fry's eye out and Warnock lost the head ,after that Braintwaite was poor I agree.

And id have no problem if people were saying "he isn't ready " " he isn't what we need" etc

What I find laughable is people saying with such certainty a young player won't make it and will end up in league one or two after very limited viewing

Well, I just don't care if they make it or not with another club. I am only interested in whether they help us to win games.

Spot on this. Wrexham fans love a good away day. Its not too far away and hopefully you'll give us the full allocation.

Away tickets for most of our league games sell out in minutes and are hard to get, so days like these are welcome as it allows more fans the opportunity to travel away.

I see the map that the documentary team clearly planted deliberately is still getting a few bites. I'm stunned anyone believes this was a genuine mistake and not a wind up.

Wrexham fans will have every sympathy with your ownerships woes. The last decent owner before the current lot we had sold the club in around 2001/2002 and sold it down the river to crooks. Since then we went from one disaster to another, lost ownership of our stadium on the way (its back with the club now) and we lost our training ground Colliers Park which is now owned by the Welsh FA. We still have no permanent training ground but they are currently in the process of finding a suitable site to build one.

What's the situation with your owners now?

My Mum was from Rhosymedre, so I keep an eye out for Wrexham's results. Someone in her family even knew Aarfon Griffiths-not Lloyd George, but still!

I am so envious of your situation, but glad you have got some decent owners at last.

Our owners continue to dumb down our club. No ambition, no community engagement.... no point!

It's like death by a thousand cuts. This goes on top of some more murky issues around the original takeover and what seemed to be wanton destruction of an historic football club during the first few years of this ownership.

The slogan "Made in Lancashire. Destroyed in India" still rings true for me, although the dumbing down and managed decline may be less obvious to the outside world.

Meanwhile, we seem to have a very good manager, who is being undermined by the owners via their current cardboard- cut-out board of directors.......but like the Murphy's, I'm not bitter....
