I didn’t really register, but you may be right. Carter definitely made a big effort and walked right down the Riverside deliberately applauding the fans. Looking back he may well have been making a point.
We wondered the very same.
Something afoot...

It was about the same time that Stanley adorned their ground with murals of legends and ours were scrapped. Venkys are up to no good.
Well, I always had that sinking feeling that one-if not both- Venky relegations were deliberate i.e. every decision inevitably led to that outcome.
This January will indicate whether they are at it again.
I want my club back...

Because the most likely explanation is that the owners put a stop to the deal and the club started spinning a massive web of lies to try and save face.
Fairly likely imo

I don’t see how that makes sense either!
The premise of Goodhart’s law is if a measure becomes a target you can manipulate things to ensure you meet it.
In these instances you’ve met the target but you’ve not necessarily achieved the success the measure was intended to help you achieve.
I hope that makes sense, I fear that it doesn’t!!
Hitting the Target. Missing the point(s).

This roughly equates to the Mowbray "journey".
Keep the faith - it'll all come good at some unspecified point years into the future. When everyone eventually wakes up and smells the coffee and realise it hasn't worked it doesn't matter by then. I've stuffed my pockets full of cash and can sail off merrily into the sunset.
Blackburn who?
Blackburn Alexandra?

Yeah because Travis is shit
Well, I thought he was superb against Watford. Then he was dropped for the next game.
I guess he is being sold?

All questions only the scum in India can answer.
But I think to argue that there is nobody in the world with the desire or means to buy this club, given what we have witnessed elsewhere, is pushing the limits of believability.
Protesting over here is a bit like screaming at the sky, although it might help create and maintain some community resolve.
We would have to find a way of giving them a war at home...reputation damage in India etc...
Venky's have to go...

Forest, like Hull, wanted promotion from this league asap. Hence serious investment in improvements.
Whatever Rovers want it isn't promotion, claiming so is an insult to those who actually try.
You'd almost think it was a deliberate strategy to reduce the fanbase...
A pointless club, indeed.
Bastard club killers!

5 more points and we would within striking distance of the playoffs.
We are 15th and 10 points clear of relegation. From the way some talk on here you would think we are in the relegation zone.Well, the goals conceded column certainly fits the "R" word. Pretty poor in the opposition box too.
This situation could get a whole lot worse, while we await the return of missing players- end Feb for JRC and Dolan?-
Confidence is required to play our "style". A death spiral of defeats only eats away at that...and some of the recent body language seems to reflect defeatism.
However, I was pleased with the players' response to the awful goals in the first half..
Worrying times...

That’s been coming. Not sure why every other foul has been a booking for Rovers and Hull have only had one (plus one for kicking the ball away), but very silly to put your hand on the lad’s shoulder when you’re on a booking.
It's like the ref in Escape to Victory!

Bit harsh, to be fair.
He's done alright generally, made some good saves (Watford first half especially), but has left a few soft ones in.
Genuinely pleased to see Telalovic starting. He clearly knows where the net is and should get a couple of chances in this game.
Expect him to take at least one of them.Blimey, Andy, you sound like Leo's social worker...

I would have considered it, but can't log into the Rovers website, or RoversTV and their password reset system isn't working.......
But, probably stopped me wasting £10 on another performance like Boxing Day
Just managed to re-set mine...and I'm a total luddite, so may be worth another try lol

Imagine how gutted i was when my mrs announced a few months ago that we're all going to london on the 29th and will be at the abba arena watching a digital concert that starts at the exact same time as the game
Suddenly i'm looking foward to it😃

Broughton spoke about it at the end of the transfer window.
TK wanted out as soon as Luton made their first bid in July. TK then threw his toys out in Austria cos Rovers didn't accept.
Even if GB was exaggerating, I assume that TK would have been desperate to play in the premier league....

That one still sticks in my craw too, although I was genuinely surprised how many didn't seem bothered that a Rovers team did not show up to compete against Burnley. Sign of the times perhaps.
The 4-0 against Rotherham shortly afterwards was almost as bad. Preston smashing us 4-1 at Ewood around that time was similarly embarrassing. We ended up putting that period behind us, and hopefully we'll do so again this season, but it's hard to trust many of the players who were a part of those performances again.
Well, that Turf Moor no-show certainly p****d me off...I agree with you. It left me with huge doubt.
