  1. We'll win, one of the other 2 will draw & the other will get an injury time winner via a ref's bad call.
  2. I actually think the other 2 results may work out........It's us winning at Millwall that I've a problem believing in.
  3. Scott Wharton has been a disaster since January. It was his screw up that started the break that caused the goal that forced us into the replay at Birmingham in the first place. It's nice that he's one of us, but he's simply not good enough for this level, forget the Premier League. Now his brother on the other hand ............ Scott should learn how to help out around Brockhall or drive the team bus or something if he wants to remain a part of things.
  4. We'll know soon if BRFCS & Ribero are as pedantic as the EFL.
  5. As the match was winding down Saturday (before the equalizer) I had this feeling of dread about deadline day. I just knew having an unplanned match away on that day would balls something up. Sure enough, Birmingham got the goal........& then Tuesday........sure enough. Duff injured at the wrong time, then sold when he wanted to stay........3 years later we're close to CL again & Tugs gets hurt at the wrong time. 2 years after that the Walkers are too cheap to get Diarra when we're close, so half the club leaves that summer. Fat Sam lines up Raúl & Guti with the help of Salgado but.........& then the ash cloud........& then, & then, & then........ It is always f*cking something. Sure enough.
  6. This is almost as bad as the 1964 Philadelphia Phillies. Look it up if you like......enjoy.......
  7. Whoa tiger! Let's get back to The Show first before we start worrying about our performance in it.
  8. Wow - 3 goals in the same game! How the hell did that happen?
  9. Forget promotion, we won't be within 10 points of the top 6 at the end, in fact we might be out of it by the end of the weekend. The moment it all turned was the missed penalty call & red early at Hull..........instant BAD VIBES. You could just see it that night: we were done. More years of semi-meaningless lower divisions football to come & no end in sight.........& get that goddamn devil head off our kits........f*cking Recoverite.
  10. OK breathing again..........& here's to the bloke who needed assistance in the Jack W; I hope he's OK. Oh.....& somebody put the brakes on QPR s'il vous plaît.
  11. I think most of this board would tell you to pound sand on that one Melly. Games like these are "must wins" if you're going to challenge for promotion, automatic or otherwise, and we just got outworked by a team that truly sucks. It was the epitome of bad vibes.
  12. You're missing the point.......the vibes are bad. This was our chance to set the pace & no one looked even remotely up for it; that's a bad sign. We need to win emphatically on Monday.
  13. You can just feel it, everything has turned. The BS with the primary kit sponsor....... Hull City playing games with their squad health to avoid us when we were red-hot........ ......then of course they have to have this "new owner bump" the night they're playing us......... .......in a match with a rookie ref completely out of his depth who was trying to compensate for what I believe is his only other match ever at this level, which was shite. So.................. ......he blows a penalty/strait red call........ .......& the guy who should be off keeps another goal out just a little after that. I feel like I did the night after the Derby away match in January of '98 (I watched the Steelers (IN PERSON) lose an AFC Championship Game a few hours later) . I really hope I'm wrong, but this feels like the beginning of that slide in '98. We'll be lucky just to make the playoffs.
  14. Starting with today's match at Hull City, 7 of the 9 matches to be played over the next 39 days will be televised by ESPN+ due to their selection for broadcast by Sky Sports in the UK. Be aware that the total cost per month of ESPN+ is only $6.99 plus applicable taxes in your state, so you've no excuse not to be paying attention. I'm not one to sing ESPN's praises, but this is too good to pass up, especially when compared to the cost & streaming quality of RoversTV.
