Tugays passing was breathtaking last night and he proved yet again that at his best, he is our most important player. However, he isnt capable of playing like yesterday every single game and needs a rest every few games and his games need to be chosen carefully. But he was world class last night and I wish I couldve been there to pay the entrance fee to watch the maestro in action. On a side note, FSP was not that involved. MGP looked clearly injured. Reid was poor. We didnt create too many clear cut chances and if we had played better opposition we could have drawn or lost, especially as Sunderland had at least 2-3 dead certain chances which they couldnt put away.

Just cause some clubs fail to light up after going to the Intertoto doesnt mean that we shouldnt try. Look at Hamburg in Germany this season. Won the Intertoto and now they are second in the league in Germany!

Very poor performance. I can take losing, but we werent even putting them under any pressure at all. For Gods sake they had an 18 year old in goal and we didnt even test him!!! We missed MGP today for sure. Sinama only looked good in two moves and shouldve scored. Bellamy was barely involved. Just answer me this, why were we sending 100 crosses into the box when our two strikers are well under 6 feet tall? Very poor. Time to pick the boys up for Sunderland...I think we just threw away any fantasies about Champs League, and possibly made ourselves outsiders for a UEFA Cup place too. Now we have to watch our backs cause Everton are right up there too. Kudos to Everton, they deserved it!

Always seen Boateng as an OK player, nothing more nothing less. Solid at best. But I think McClaren is a good coach. They wont go down either.

I always thought alot depends on the first goal and the stats prove it right in this game. If we concede, Everton are a tough nut to crack. But a loss would give our European ambitions a blow!

Kroldrup story is crap. He was one of the top defenders in Serie A for a couple of years and highly rated. Now he is playing for the 4th top side in Italy and he led Udinese to the Champions League. Cant be that bad, can he?

Young... Friedel, Gray, Todd, Tugay, and Savage were all on the wrong side of 30. Nelsen (27-28), and Kuqi (29.5) are approaching 30. But other than that, yep!

Utter rubbish! But how many times have we followed up a brilliant performance to throw it all away against a weaker side! Tugay was ridicoulusly poor in the first half. We have a difficult game next weekend and with West Ham winning, the UEFA hunt is tighter than ever. Id start Sinama next week with Bentley who is looking like our classiest player these days. MGP was not involved at all in the second half. Bellamy where art thou!!?!?!!?!?

They will improve but this season may be too soon. Next season if they keep the same players (largely) and stay injury free then you have a good squad to challenge for 4th - 6th. Lets be honest, whilst we havent seen the best of people such as Luque, he is a world class player who has proven himself before in La Liga and the Champions League.

Olsson is one for the future. There is no way in hell he will be on the bench. Besides the reasoning I gave, their league ended in November and he hasnt played since then.

I dont like the yellow, green and orange in their logo. Doesnt go with our colors.

Thanks for spoiling a perfect day with thoughts of what ifs. Hopefully someone like Steve Bruce could follow in for Newcastle and pick up where Souey left or Big Sam, then Bolton can fall apart too...
