It's wake up time...we have a pair of complete lightweights up front with nothing to replace them. I know Hughes is supporting them publicly, but i am certain that when he sees their pitiful efforts he must be fuming. Every time i hear the blackburn end singing mccarthy's name when he's performed another poncy flick it drives me mad. i wonder how many filcks Hughes did in his career......he just got on with the job of making the defenders life hell, and doing what he was paid for.

the real test for our 2 star strikers will be to put in a performance when the opposition actually turn up. i've yet to see them give a hrad time to a defence of any quality. when i see that for several games i'll be convinced. pulling off a few fancy flicks against feeble opposition when you coasting at home doesn't convince me...lets see them do it when we're a goal down against a quality defence.
