One of my first ever away trips, must have been biggest crowd I'd seen up to then.
Actually went with my "Auntie" (bolton fan) on 126, double decker from Adlington.
I can remember the goal going in but not much else apart from a heaving embankment. Eeeee them were days!!
It seems like the dingles have picked up on the story and judging by their response (clarets mad) they have us closing down by weekend and themselves becoming top dogs in east lancs.
North End issued free tickets to Schools in Chorley area the other week for their home game against millwall. It's something we don't seem to do anymore.
We could be in to block E335 by now, forgot to mention when i got mine friday afternoon for block E334 the girl in the office said she couldn't give me any seats low down as there was only a few left for that particular block and they were up at the back. She also said they were taking it a block at a time and utd were being kept informed of our sales. Apparently it is possible to segregate fans in tier 2 if we send any back. Althogh saying that I believe utd are no where near a sell out yet.
In the other the other major games I had no doubt we would sell 30'000ish, but for this one I dont really know what to expect. It really could be anything between 10,000 and 30,000.
I'll tell you what longsider, I dont know about you, but I'm a bit long in the tooth for all this crap.
Why dont we wish each other all the best, shake on it, and may the best team win.
My god I've started talking crap again!!
