[Archived] Rivaldo For Notlob

Since when is Fulham fans always right? Of course they want to blame it all on Souness, since Cole is a Fulham player now, they can't blame him for what happened. There's always more than one angle, and I'm sure that Cole is to blame aswell as Souness. -

Agree, Campo is quite good, and his abilities combined with Okocha's abilities makes them a good pair.. I'm also impressed with Souey in the transfer market, it's been a long time since a player has rejected Rovers and joined someone else.. (excluding Larsson, he's out of our league. Literally speaking ) -

Will RoversWorld/RoversRadio broadcast from the Sporting Lisbon match? They broadcasted from the Lazio game last year I think, but can't see it anywhere on their site...? -
I think Jansen will keep no 10, and De Pedro will get no 11.

Rumour is Yorke's injured his calf.
-
Souness hasn't really made a swipe at Cole IMO, he only said that he's disappointed with the result of the reunion of Cole/Yorke (who isn't??) and that from now on, he wants MEN in his team, not babies. I really think the baby-thing was directed to Yorke more than Cole, to be honest, but that's just how I see it of course..

What reception will you guys give him when Fulham visits Ewood? If I was there, I would applaude him - after the professional way he's acted in all of this. Then, I would cheer loudly when Lucas brings him down..

Yup, we told him to ###### off home to Italy, and then call him a week later and say: "Okay, you can come.. but no wages!!" -

Another trialist scores, this time for the u18's !! Is this that Volpati kid again? ..Garner also opened his 04/05 scoring account with a penalty ! -
Wow, talk about making a perfectly understandable sentence into racial bigotry in a heartbeat..
-
That's not true, Souey praised Cole every time he DESERVED to be praised - especially considering he cost us £7,5 million !

Find it somewhat interesting that when we sign experienced striker Paul Dickov, "everyone" complains about Souness always signing to old players. And now, when we have a 17-year old Italy youth international on trial - he's too inexperienced ? -
Good work Abbey, he's on the right track now !

My guess is, we had the players' club's approval. -
Friedel- Neill, Amo, Matteo, Gray Emerton, Ferguson, Thommo/Tugay, De Pedro Stead, Dickov Enckelman good backup for Brad Short will push for a place, and hopefully Jay aswell - plus Vratti. Reid, Flitty, Douglas and perhaps Donnelly backups in midfield Gally and Jansen backups up front, and obviously any new striker that might come in. Jemal aswell perhaps?

Hm.. didn't you know someone who were at the game Paul ? And perhaps this person could describe the player? For example, this player from Excelsior - he's black right? Maybe the person at the game could tell us whether the player is black or white? How was this player introduced anyway, "on for Jonathan Stead comes A. Trialist" ?? -

Top Goalscorers 04/05: A.Trialist (Blackburn Rovers) - 24 Thierry Henry - 23 Alan Shearer - 21 .................................... -
Kidd is in the Coca Cola (Teeny Weeny) Championship, and Hodgson has been relegated to Norwegian Tippeliga. Can anyone tell me whether Dalglish had many rows with his players, as I am a bit young to remember much else than Shearer, Sutton and 94/95!
-
Before Souness came in, Dunny was a fringe player on his way out - that was before Souey gave him a chance and made 5,5 million pounds on him! God knows we wouldn't get that price in the current market, considering we have to give away players like Andy Cole!

[Archived] Paul Dickov Signs - Good Deal Or Not ?
herbergeehh replied to Baz's topic in Football Messageboard Archive
Shearer will stay at Newcastle for the rest of the season, then he'll retire and become a coach/manager in a minor club, before he takes us to Champions League in 2008 ! EDIT: Anyone who knows why my signature doesn't "work"? -
He did, but I'm just stating my preferances. Besides, Dickov scored one more goal and played one more match than Cole, so the goal ratio isn't that different.. EDIT: Wow, after rechecking my sources I found that Dickov played 35, Cole 34, and both of them scored 11 goals last season.
