Curbishley would've been a fantastic manager for Rovers IMO, we're not too unsimilar to Charlton sizewise (wow, catchy!) and he's done a marvellous job for them. However, it probably won't happen, since I can see no reason for him to leave Charlton NOW, and certainly not to join us. Curb or O'Neill for Rovers = a very happy Norwegian.

Rudi is not a left winger, don't understand why Hoseth didn't play out left with Rudi in the middle alongside POOR Martin Andresen. What's really poor is Hareide's management after the goal though, when 2-1 down he has got nothing to lose - put on Gamst, Iversen and Rushfeldt and try to mow it up and get a poor goal !! But all credit to Italy, who outplayed us for 94 minutes with their young additions. De Rossi will be a worldclass player, well he already is really..

Coach Hareide tried to hold on to a 1-1 result against Italy, and therefore he didn't have the guts to send on Gamst - he kept the more defensive minded midfielders instead. Then Italy scored ten minutes before time, and we gave up. (we, meaning Norway, not myself) We could have sent on all our firepower and given everything for a goal, but Hareide didn't seem to bother - 2-1 is a fairly good result now isn't it?
