  1. So its not just the women who want him for his body
  2. The times article also quotes Hughes as saying "He could be the right player at the wrong time" It also goes on to suggest what Beckham would be swapping in the move including the line -"He would improve his chances of winning a trophy" My girlfriend was also go - as I think everyones would!
  3. I don't think its as outrageous as people are making out. He would be a fantastic signing as a central midfielder. Not only would he add AT LEAST 5k to the gate, he'd boost Rovers worldwide profile - and we'd get a lot more coverage in the press. Advantages for Becks: Huge Fish in a small Pond - he'd be THE star again - unlike at Madrid. Guaranteed First Team Football - which he wouldn't be guaranteed at the Big Clubs Close to Manchester - Can you see Posh living in Newcastle? Sparky - Chance to play for one of his heroes I think its unlikely - but a nice thought anyway.
  4. Many more injuries and I'll be on the bench!
  5. No offence but there is a world of difference between scoring against Chorley and Bamber Bridge than against Manchester United and Chelseas first team.
  6. Matteo, Gray and Mokoena in Murder Mystery! GET HER IN NOW!
  7. That could offend a few of the more touchy folk on here
  8. I'd prefer us to sign Jessica Fletcher from Murder She Wrote!
  9. Yeah I noticed that - it sounds impressive till you look at who he's scored against.
  10. I reckon she took a dive - probably picks up these bad habits of her wonderful husband. Wonder if she spits or...
  11. I don't even dare watch  This could be very embarassing - especially as the missus is a United fan.
  12. Unbelieveable Geoff!!!!!!
  13. Would it be difficult to put the TV Cameras on the roof of the riverside? Wouldn't make any difference to the ground - but it'd look a damn site better on the television. I'm being serious now!
  14. And you wonder why people pick on you?
  15. I know what you're saying - but its our gates that we have to be concerned about.
  16. Not necessarily - it also has Ugo Ehiogu as "No return date" then lists him as doubtful for the next match. Hopefully it's not a long term thing with Bert Mk2.
  17. http://www.physioroom.com/news/english_pre...njury_table.php Sods law isn't it - teams like Chelsea and United with their huge squads have very few injuries - and teams like us who can't afford a strong squad get crippled by injuries!
  18. I thought that at the time. But there weren't any other attacking options left on the bench.
  19. "I thought both the penalties we conceded in the final minutes of our 1-0 win at Blackburn were questionable - and question them is exactly what I did" Kevin Nolan The second was certainly not questionable - and he fails to mention the two earlier incidents.
  20. When you look at some of the fine detail they have to adjust - it's impossible for them to spot all bugs when they create the game.
  21. I think most people would agree with you on that. The league has to be priority - but as we don't have to choose - let's just win both games
  22. Le Tissier is the best penalty taker I've ever seen. Only ever missed one! Scored 49 out of 50. Don't think any other regular penalty takers can boast a 98% record!
  23. Sounds like an excellent idea for a new channel 5 show!
  24. Tugay would have to get in! He'd be immense at five-a-side!
  25. http://www.25-88.com/clean_your_monitor/brush.swf Probably not best to use at work - although no-one cares where I work Brilliant for cleaning the inside of your monitor screen PS. Not suitable for children!
