My mate is a very low grade ref and he says they haven't changed the law itself, its all about how people interpret it because i said the same thing to him. He says when he is an assistant its alot easier if they jsut give offside when any player is off, as its hard enough as it is judgeing offsides. 320478[/snapback] I've got a mate who's a ref- and he said exactly the same thing to me. Blamed some ref (might have been Poll) for saying there had been a change- when in fact there hadn't.

Foreigners. (and before I'm attacked for being racist- let me explain). When the Premiership first started there were something like 11 foreign players in starting line ups on the opening day of the season. I've nothing against the likes of Henry, Ronaldo and Viera as such- as they are excellent players. What I don't like- is the amount of poor/average foreign players in the english game. I'd rather see more English players playing- and less of the cheap imports coming over. I like to watch the likes of Dunn, Duff, Taylor who've come through the clubs youth team- over any foreign signing.

You click customise and buy- and the price becomes from about from £530. So frustrating- it happens with a few of the so called special offers.

Just bringing this up to blame Souness for Steads season. If the nice gentleman had never fallen out with Cole- surely we'd have had a better season out of Stead. I don't know- just blaming Souness for everything seems to make me feel better.

Swines have put the price up by about £140 today. 10% off on tesco ones at the moment, but will wait for more offers from dell I'm thinking.

Been looking on Dell- and found one with the following spec for £521 inc vat and delivery. Intel® Pentium 4 processor with HT technology 630 (3.00GHz, 800FSB, 2MB cache) 1024MB Dual Channel DDR2 400MHz [2x512] Is that quick then? I'd be using it for games/uni work/my own business needs. Also- The 1024 MB Ram is for the price of 512 till tomorrow. Is this an offer that they have often- or should I rush into another impulse buy? All help is much appreciated guys.

Can anyone answer this for me? Which is better? Pentium? Celeron? AMD Athlon? ie. How would a P4 2.8 compare to a Celeron 2.8?

Newcastle need someone who can sort the likes of Dyer, Robert, Jenas, Bowyer out. The problem is- Souness' man management skills are virtually non-existant. I think they need to re-build from scratch- getting rid of the people who have the massive egos. There's bound to be some foreign club that would take him on as manager I'm sure.

Excellent night- cracking atmosphere. Tugay was the star of the show- absolutely brilliant. Of the youngsters I thought Andy Taylor looked the closest to a first team spot- pushed forward well- but wasn't really tested defensively. Good to see Shearer scoring in front of the Blackburn End again- and finally getting the send off he deserved. Harshest moment of the night- Gordan Cowans comes to take a corner in front of the Blackburn End- and a section of the crowd start singing Speedie, Speedie. The poor guy looked confused. Jon Stead was trying a bit too hard to impress - some of his shooting was absolutely terrible. Paul Gallagher took both his goals well- cracking one if of the underside of the bar and putting a free-kick into the top corner. Just a few questions, there were several people missing that it would've been nice to see at least turn up (they might have done- just didn't see them): Kenna - play offs Sherwood Batty Berg Wilcox - injured? I've made the play offs after keeping up my good home run. Not lost at home in the league for nearly 10 months now. Decided against going for promotion though. Playing a very weakened side and playing it cool. I'm nowhere near as good as the team I'm up against- and they've struggled this season. Think I just need another couple of seasons to build a team that can survive at the next level. I'm gonna make my club as strong as possible in the bottom division before trying to climb my way up the leagues.

I've applied for a team called Leyland CC. Have you got a team already? How long does it usually take to get a team? Think it looks a good idea- give me something to do other than hattrick at work

pg - I'm just worried that I'll lose supporters if I get promoted and lose most weeks. I got just shy of 36,000 fans for my last game against a side bottom of the league- who've only just joined. Getting attendances like that- and slowly building my fan base and team at the bottom level would give me a better chance in future seasons. I'm pretty confident that I could get promotion in 2 seasons time if I stay down. Definitely a few players short at the moment.

I'm gonna go for 1-0 to the Baggies. Simply because they need it more than we do- and we're looking a little jaded.

I'm still top with two games to go. I'm trying to get enough points to win my league for the trophy, but not enough for automatic promotion. I'll just throw the play off match if I get there. Another great youth pull this weekend- TSI 30. Two of my midfielders moved up levels on Friday though, and I've just bought a Formidable defender- so things are looking up.

We've got a run of fixtures we can get a good few points from- and possibly make the top half. Maybe give the likes of Taylor, Garner, Johnson and Barker a place on the bench for a few games. Give them 20/30 minutes of games just to get a taste.
